Bioware makes almost as good of a trailer as blizzard. I wanna see gamplay first and formost, but I'll be happy with a pretty cinematic. I want to see the new art style in motion before I judge.

What I don't want to see is some 20 sec teaser.

Well it's not like they *make* the trailers.

Likely it's going to be all Male Hawke, as usual.

I know we've gone over this before, but it continues to bother me because there's nothing, absolutely nothing, that would indicate to a new player that they can play as a woman. They could do mirror images, back to back, at least for still art. I don't think it's fair to assert it's "too confusing" to include both in advertising and then reassure everyone that "oh yes of course you'll be able to customize that."

Unless they start putting that information somewhere, I remain unconvinced that anyone outside this community will actually know! Already, in the comments of every article I'm seeing online, or even on this forum, everyone's talking about Hawke as male.

Honestly if there was so much as a *hint* of Fem!Hawke in this trailer I don't care if it's cinematic or gameplay or 30 seconds long. Just throw us a bone!

I want to see in-game footage given the info we have. I hope they don't go down the Crytek route and just start showing off console footage only with 2% pc footage, like big fat sell outs.

Crytek suck, greedy jerks.

for most if not all modern games, the first teaser trailer always start out as CGI. I hope it's long enough to show us as who Hawke is and what he is fighting for.

I think the CGI trailers were actually made by Blur Studios. They were responsible for SW:TOR and ME2 trailers too.. so they are the ones who are good at making trailers?

I think the 1st trailer for Mass Effect 2, launched at the E3 2009, was entirely made of in-game graphics. I know it was, I'm just not sure if there was any teaser (or debut) trailer launched before that one, but I don't recall so...

CGI probably. I'm thinking something like the Calling CGI about 90-120 seconds long. Our story's narrator(the dwarf) talking about Hawke.

There was a trailer before that, and it was pretty crap. It was just a close up of a CGI Legion, saying "Shepard: KIA."

If its a cinematic trailer I'd prefer they'd stick to a fantasy style score (no metal).

When has Bioware ever had metal in their trailers :S?

Well if you consider Marylin Manson metal his song is at the end of the link I posted above.

I'm expecting it to be nothing like the game - like Sacred Ashes. :P

Cheating at the highest level! they can not show a trailer of something which is not even in the game, or even looks like the game, especially when the trailer looks danm hot, and the game just looks like something from year 1999

You're right, I remember that now. But I don't expect BW to do a similar trailer for DA2. With all the anticipation (and turbulence) that's going on with DAO fans, I'm sure they'll opt for an epic trailer instead. At least I hope so.

The sacred Ashes trailer was awesome! but they had alot of time on DAO. In DA2 they dont have as much time so maybe just gameplay? with a few cutscenes ...

I'd actually want cinematic to be honest. sacred Ashes really was just so cool and I'd like to learn more about the chracters than the gameplay.

Bioware just does awesome cinematic trailers.

actually, sacred ashes was done by blur studio (as well as both sw:tor trailers).
but blur are doing fantastic work, if this is cinematic then i can't.
