A few days ago, i was reading a thread discussing the profanity filter, and I decided to see if I could get any crap past the radar. I renamed one of my characters "c*cky", ( the * is an o ), and tried to upload, and was told it was unacceptable. I renamed him to Hanc*ck, and again it was unacceptable.
The bug is, they actually were uploaded except for their portraits. Hanc*ck is censored, but c*cky is not.

if there is a way to delete these "joke" chars, I'd like to know

If you want to delete your joke characters go to your Games Tab (in your profile) => Dragon Age Origins - PC link => Manage Characters (right above your profile pic). From there you can delete the ones you don't want.
