I want to use the toolset to edit 360 saves. Is this possible? I have tried opening the save in the Toolset but it isn't giving me the same options that it does when I open a PC save. I can't edit anything. What I wanted to do was change stats and add some gold, at the beginning of the game.

This isn't for me, really. It's just a lot of people on the 360 have beaten the game and want to play again with more right off. I can hex edit the saves but that is still very limited. can't change stats or add gold. all I can do is change equipped items, the equipped item tiers, or the enchantments. It's easy to make the enchantments give better stats but I really don't like using the same items the whole game. It'd just be much easier and more fun for a lot of people if this could be done and was shared.

Do you use Xbox live? You do understand that modifying your save games like that is a violation of the EULA and Microsoft may permanently ban your console from online play for doing so.

They did it to half a million pirates when Modern Warfare 2 came out....it's no joke.

Also if you want to have more stats/gold, just use the dupe trick. It's beyond simple.

Just google search "dragon age dupe/gold trick" or something like that and I'm sure you'll find it.

I understand that but I've done this before and have had no trouble. Maybe because I'm not cheating online and only changing my own game experience?

I don't understand what you mean by pirates. I bought the 360 and PC version. This is how I have the Toolset. I know the gold trick. What I want to do is change values on a save so that I have gold and high stats.

This can be done through hex editing, of course, and there's that glitch you just mentioned. I'm only trying to see if there is a different way to accomplish this.

You know, if this were done, it just might give me incentive to purchase the PC version of the game just for the toolset.
