lol, choosing what Hawke says with the wheel, and then the Warden using the regular list, would be pretty funny.

haha that would be wicked funny!
I don't think you should actually have a conversation with the warden, but it would be cool if s/he made an appearance. Like if he'd running after Morrigan you pass him in your travels, or if you're the queen/king you see them making some important annoucnment or something.

How would that work, would we choose dialogue for both characters?

That'd be so awesome.
And as you're walking away a party member comments:
"Not a very talkative fellow/lass, is he/she?"

That would only remind you that you are stuck playing with Hawke.
So?

We may see them during our Hawke-ian journeys but I doubt there'd be any interactions.

Wouldn't it be cool if we could meet our origninal Grey Warden while on our travels? What'ya think?
NO.. let me be my Warden, thats all I would of asked, IMO, that is, let him be evil and I would be fine with that, at least I would play my hero, nor the one that came off the shelf and was spit out of a coke machine

Because of the lack of VOs I don't think there would be much interaction at all. If the Warden happens to be appearing with someone else, that other person would be doing the talking.

Probably the best they could do would be to give the Warden a passing cameo. For instance, you'd see him or her being accompanied by an escort of armed guards to a royal meeting or some such. You could see the face and the body, but you just wouldn't converse. Even then, some of the Wardens people make just ride off into the sunset and never return to serve Ferelden - so even that wouldn't work on all accounts. Ho hum.

Edit: In all seriousness, I think it would be cool for them to meet. The saves are being transferred so importing the appearance could be included and the Warden's voice is also selected at character creation so if you could get those voice actors to come back and say dialogue that is determined by choices made by the player. For example, if your character killed a lot of people, he would have corresponding dialogue. If he didn't take rewards for good deeds, protected people, etc. he would have kinder words.
It seems complicated but I'm sure it would satisfy people who want to see their Warden again.
