Have you played Fable TLC? I hear Avo's tear is just as strong if not better than the Sword of Aeons.LOLZAO wrote...

Just so long as they don't do that stupid ****g Fable crap where you spend the entire game trying to find her, and then kill her for no reason.
IT was not for nothing, you get a big red sword.Man that sword was awesome...
I don´t think they will kill her right on the start of the game, they will kill her later when the player is emotionally attached to her.

I hope she is a regular character.
Me to.
But I think, she will die, within the first 5 hours.

I don't think they're just going to make her die to some random darkspawn, her death will be epic and will send Hawke into the world alone, driven by revenge.
That being said, I honestly hope she doesn't die and will remain a solid companion throughout the game. Having a sibling around will allow Hawke at least one person to trust and confide in from the get-go.

Probably mentioned already but where is this from? I've seen this and the Incest thread about her but I've seen no links or anything for reference.
A german article

It's nice to have family along. I always thought it was a shame you couldn't drag your mother with you in the human noble origin, though having your mother along the entire game would certainly put a weird spin on the rest of the game.
Oh wow, imagine having both your mother and Wynne lecturing you about your romance???
And every time you go to camp, she reminds you to take a bath and wash behind your ears.

When you finally meet her you realize she became one of "them". You have the option to kill her, free her to join you again, or you join her yourself.
Maybe even discover that the organization that kidnapped her is in fact not evil, they were just trying to protect her. The real evil people are the ones who sent YOU on mission in the first place, just to retrieve her so they could tap on some kind of "hidden power" she might have.
Then the rest of the game would be you returning home to (with the help of your sister) battle the people who tricked you.
What a tweeeeest!!!
(Lol, this so badly cheesy it could actually be good)

I think she'll die in the first 1/4 of the game.
IF she doesn't, then I'll go with the last 1/4th.
Or some combination of which--like she'll get kidnapped at the first 1/4th of the game and then she'll actually kick the bucket at the last quarter.

Also depends on how old she is.... she could be a kid, or a teen, or older than Hawke too...

I'd love to have Bethany stay the entire game as a full-fledged companion character. Goodness, I wanted Mama Cousland in DAO to be a companion character for the rest of the game. Twas that good and the dynamic of family is that interesting on a long journey.

I'd totally side with her unless we're talking about wiping out all of humanity ... and even then maybe. You can always meet new people, but you only ever get one sister. (at least in this case ... I suppose if Hawke had six sisters it might be easier to toss her to the sharks)
