I have this account that I migrated from the old Bioware forums.

If I want to change my password now, it redirects me to the EA page, but of course, I don't have an EA account.

Solution?

You do indeed have an EA account. Your BSN account is just a frontend. You can login on the EA profile page with the same e-mail address/password combination as you use here, then change your password.

Nope. I don't have one. I created this account by migrating my old one from the old bioware forums. This account actually dates back from 2002.

I also tried to log in to ea when it sends me there, but obviously it tells me that the account does not exist.

You cannot have an account here without having an EA account behind the scenes. If you can't login the issue is something else (are you using the right e-mail address?).

I too migrated this account. I keep forgetting the password for the account. When I choose to reset my password it goes to the EA site. I reset my password there, it sends me an email etc.

Once my password is reset, I come here and the password I reset to at EA still won't log me on here (thankfully I eventually remembered what my password on the old Bio boards was; lo and behold here I am). Seems to me like maybe there's some sort of disconnect between the EA account and the migrated Bio boards accounts?

Seems something is really f*cked with people who migrated accounts from the old Bioware boards.

Any official comment or will we have this problem forever??

I migrated without any trouble. The process has changed slightly since then but after both of you registered here.

Do passwords or e-mail addresses contain any special characters?

Listen, I know you don't want to believe me. But when I registered here there were TWO options: migrate from ea account or migrate from bio boards.

I chose MIGRATE FROM BIO BOARDS, because I don't have an EA account, but had my bio boards account.

Now I can't change my password and I'd like bioware to give me a solution. Should be simple enough, given the fact they made this website.

And then the site created an EA account for you, because that's how it works.

BioWare will tell you the exact same thing I've been telling you: that you have an EA account and should be able to login with the same credentials you use here.

I cannot log in into the EA site with this login.

I'd like some official word on this and a solution.

BIOWARE? Is there anybody from this company giving support in this forum or do you leave it to forumites to guess the solutions?

Thanks.
