NG+...seriously

I am not gonna start the age old discussion about wether or not the feature is a cornerstone or not, but, the basic point remains, it is a very easy feature to implement ( usually)...it is completely optional so it will NEVER ruin anyone's game while enhancing replayability for those who like it and most importantly the PC players will just GIVE the feature to themselves through the debug console leaving the Xbox/PS3 players with nothing....so please, now that there's a LOT OF TIME LEFT in the the developement cycle, please Bioware Devs.....implement NG+ in DA2

In ME1 it completely made fighting trivial, whenever I could avoid fighting I did. Running through everything (only to get riflebutted to death by Geth Destroyers and Krogans

That was probably true of Origins, but since DA2 seems to start the same way regardless of the character I can't see that it's that much of an problem.Bryy_Miller wrote...

If that's the problem couldn't you just make a save at the start of the game and reload that if you wanted to replay the character?Lucaman wrote...
I'd love a NG+ feature, because in DAO I
tended to play through characters more than once, but that means
reconstructing the entire face of my character and getting everything
just right (I'm awkward like that =/).

that defeats the point of carrying over XP skills and whatnot....

And let you start the game as a level 30 character. The fact that it didn't let you keep your Paragon/Renegade bars was really stupid, though. That's the main reason most people wanted a NG+ in the first place: to have no constraints in how they played their character.Bryy_Miller wrote...

You CAN play through DAO entirely with a Level 25 character, from your first trip to the Korcari Wilds and onward.
it does not work after installing the patch, it "forces" your companions levelling giving you nearly no control over it and it does not carry over your items
so no that is not really a viable option

But ME2 was not based on the traditional leveling system. DA is.

Yeah, I was talking more about simply replaying a character rather than NG+.crimzontearz wrote...

Your health and abilities went up as you leveled. You leveled by getting experience points. What part of that is not traditional?
