Any of us that loved our Warden are to see them no more, they will never let us be the hreo of the hour and save the world in the end game and never try to find out what happend to the child Morrigan had, not at your warden, David will make sure if you werer the father of the child, you never was a main character or your dead, he will let Hawke go forth with Morrigan and the baby. This is a damn outrage. Yea, I'am ****ing mad.

I have been harsh and down right nasty as many others have, the DAO hero is dead, he or she is not what David wanted.......damn, David why not just make a main character from the damn start?. I really am sad of not being able to make my Warden carrry over his or her story and finding his old team mates and friends and lover ( Morrigan). I feel as like I was taken by a cheap scam and it's like they are LOL at us for what they did.

David Gaider is only the writer.
It's a different video game.
The choices carry over.

I figure once DA2 is out, they will pretty much stop work on DA1. Anyone know if that's the case or not?

I figured the sequel would be a carry over like with BG. And it was stated BG is the spiritual predecessor. I'm bummed about it. They shouldn't leave cliff hangers like with Morrigan unless they plan on delivering. Hope they do something add on wise.

Once it's out, yes.
Until then, no.

I want to thank them for making DAO and also with the news of DA2, alot of us and myself, didn't want to give them a chance the first we heard of DA2. I for one am glad to see that they are making another game and we just need to give them some support and try and help in any postive way we can, I want a good game and I have faith it will be. So thank you at BioWare for working hard as you do, not a group of guys and gal out there like you.

I agree with you. That's quite sad really.
I'll play the game and I know I'll like it, because it's Bioware and theese guys never failed a game, but I'll miss *my* Warden and his story (Morrigan and the child, seems like we've made the same choices).
Sure I'll be ****ing mad if they let it down like it was nothing, right now I'm only disappointed because I still hope in a good dlc to solve our problem.
And to the smart guys above I dare say this: if you're ok with going on to a different story, you don't mind leaving your warden behind, you don't give a damn about Morrigan, and so on well... it's your problem, just so you know there are people who think different.
I loved DAO a lot. I grew attached to my pg. I feel sorry to leave my warden's story "un-completed". Can't help it, I like happy endings.
Let's see what comes of it.

ah, it is ok, they want me to be put on a cross and killed for thinging one way, so I will not even try anymore, let them have the games of thier lives.....at least I knew my Warden was a good man, all I need now, so throw the sticks and stones at tme while I walk out. Have fun, reaaly have fun.

Its also an old school RPG that takes cues from NWN and BG, both of which were based on traditional tabletop Pen & Paper RPGs. As as anyone who plays those tabletop RPGs can tell you: After you complete a campaign, that story comes to an end and the characters who survived and beat the Big Bad Villain ride off into the sunset of the players imaginations. You DON'T ask the DM "Can I use my level 20 character in the new campaign you are planning simply because it takes place in the same setting as the last one?". Playing with overpowered characters who have already done all there is to do gets very boring very fast. New stories with new characters in familiar worlds are always more fun than running around as a level 60 Warden in Dragonbone platemail killing level 15 bandits will ever be

A cross? Really? Do you really think anyone cares that deeply to want you dead?

You are rambling and half incoherent. It's been stated long before DA2 was ever announced that you should not expect to have your character from DAO transfer to the next game(s) in the series. Dragon Age is about an age in Thedas, not about one single person or event. Get over it. You deluded yourself into thinking you were getting something you weren't even when it was explicitly said you weren't getting it. Whose fault is that?
Your right,,have fun.
