All I would ask.....why did you let all of the timeline and this new epic story not contain our Warden....thats all I ask, I need to know this and may never know, If I get to kind of reply from you, then I know it's over and I need to take all of the stuff I bought from BioWare out of the system of mine, bash me call me a **** or not having faith.........I had faith in the Warden I made, not the DA world. Nemesis, it's another video game. It's Mario 2. It's Fable 2. Just because it is a sequel does not mean that it has to follow the main plot of the first game. By the way, DA2 takes place during DA1 as well as in it's own timeline, which I'm sure you know, but just reminding you. Secondly, David Gaider is simply one of the writers. Starting a thread like this is like asking BioWare as a whole why they do anything.
I'm sorry you feel scammed, but why? You bought a game for fun, and either you had fun or you didn't. It sounds like you did, so I would say that you got your moneys worth. Using that logic, do you feel scammed every time you buy a hot dog? No, of course not.

Because like you said, its a new epic story and the people at BioWare wanted to tell a story from a different point of view. Like people have told you before, Dragon Age isn't just about your warden.

I have no problem with a series where I experience the consequences of my previous characters actions from a new perspective every game. That's a real interesting concept.

I understand the sentiment Nemesis feels- if you did the DR and had your Warden romance Morrigan, you really get the shaft given Awakening's ending. There isn't any closure.
Even given the fact that BioWare wants DA to be about epic tales in Thedas, there is something to be said for giving characters proper closure. People connect to the story and the world of Dragon Age through the characters first and foremost- so when the Warden is just left out to dry like in Awakening, its frustrating. And unless you did the US, your Warden is left in limbo- just like Revan at the end of KOTOR2.
And with the prospect of Morrigan somehow returning in DA2, it would just feel awfully cheap to have Hawke conveniently run into Morrigan while the Warden who romanced her is left wandering Thedas searching for Morrigan to no avail.
I doubt Gaider will chime in though, as whatever they have planned for Morrigan they are keeping under wraps.Thats fair enough. I just hope that eventually, whether its DLC, an expack or DA3, the Wardens that romanced Morrigan get some kind of closure and resolution beyond a vague report of the Warden "vanishing."

1) Repeatedly making threads on the subject will not make Morrigan come back to your Warden sooner.
2) You will need to wait and see what (and if anything) happens with Morrigan in the future. Insofar as DA2 is concerned, the Warden's story is done. I'm sorry if that upsets you, but that's simply the way it is.
