Does this make a difference? Will any choices made during Awakenings have an impact on DA2?

Awakening really has only one big choice that has an effect on the world in general....so probably not.

I don't know, it would be nice if we could import the decision about what we did with the Darkspawn in Awakening.

Haven't you been on the forums lately? Just look. You WILL be able to import the save from Awakening to DA2.

If Anders is actually the last party member, I'd say it's definitely a good idea ... unfortunately, I've never played Awakening on my "canon" Warden because the whole plot is OOC for her
