Maybe its beause I've been playing Soul Calibur....but I would totally love to see new weapons in the Dragon Age 2. Like tonfa blades for rouges, a ball-chained mace for warriors, maybe even mages can use staff and swords together.

Also spears, scythes zanbatou/halberd, pikes...some throwing based weapons maybe

I mean we are going to be exploring new parts of Thedas so why not more weapons? Please I'll pukk out the cute kitten picture even.

More games need a D2 style throwing weap barb.

All signs (well, two pieces of artwork) point to spears being an option in DA2, so that's a start.

yeah it is, I think it would be great to have long ranged weapons beside bows

Flails would be nice...not that I'm expecting them to show up in the game, but I have a flail, and it could crack open a head pretty well.



Also, the two handed maces should be smaller. They were never that huge.

Well, DA:O did have Caltrop traps... but your character is rather stupid and drops them all around themselves and have to step on them to get out...

I would like to see more seige weaponry, besides the unlimited ammo, impotent flaming pebble launcher in DA:O.
