But speaking of speculation:
I for one am most interested in hearing about the voice cast. What are you guys most interested in hearing about next?

I want to hear about the idea behind the F-117 Nighthawk Darkspawn armor design.
Maybe it's so they could stealthily fly crap under the radar ?...

I'd much rather they just made stuff up that is borderline ridiculous/somewhat plausible. Like your character can only use a sword. Or they are instituting a light side, dark side morality system that actual affects your character's appearance... Even though there is technically only one origin you are forced, much to your chagrin, to select "Human Vagabond" every time you go to start a new game.

The devs have already said that there is no morality meter in DA2.

I hate to be the negative nancy of this delightfully positive forum,
I had to laugh at this; especially since I have contributed my own "delightfully positive" feedback.
Anyways, I am probably most interested in seeing the debut trailer, hoping for game-play footage. I know the story, quests, companions, etc are going to be top shelf, but I'm kind of curious to see what this new art style looks like in action. I'm not one of the folks upset or bashing the screen shots mind you, more curious. I remember when the first screen shots of DAO were released people decried them as visually abusive. While the final product was hardly a technical marvel, it was more than adequate. In fact I'd say the visuals of DAO did the job nicely. So having said that, I'm willing to bet when the current art style is polished and in action, it'll look pretty slick.

Those are things that they rarely mention in the marketing campaign, if ever. We can wait but it won't be answered in magazines, preview videos etc. anyway.

The 'drip-feed' is simply modern marketing. It's been done for years and it is by design, to gradually build hype all out of proportion to the actual product. Oh, and it's pretty damn silly too.

I like it better this way. Gives you something to think about. If we suddenly knew everything, then we'd have three months with no info. Not very exciting and it doesn't make you want to rush to get the game

Exactly.
That was too easy...
Edit: the next course in marketing I take, this response goes on the board.

Some more information about the characters (but not too much!) and new spells/talents. But especially spells (I love mages).

Seconded! Mages rock! (you gain +10 approval from me).

Mechanics. Yes. I don't understand why they don't inform us more about the combat, the systems, how things will work. At least informally, on the forums. Will they finally get rid of level scaling. Will combat encounters be more varied, in the sense that we'll need to use different tactics. What will they do about the potion spam problem. What about this regeneration of hp/mana outside of combat (and mana even during combat), which I dislike very much; why not consider a resting system?

You want the character to have to actually stop and rest?
ummm 1980s D&D game called, they want their idea returned and not stolen!
LOL, im as old school as they come and thats takeing the worst, not the best from the old games!
As for what I want, I always enjoy the trailers even if im not buying game so looking foreward to that!
Otherwise, I want to know about game lenght and level of detail as compared to DA:O.
Those my most pressing concerns cause someone else posted reminding me that when DA:O released Bioware said they couldnt do the main character voice with out cutting half the game out (Resource wise). Only been 1.5 years so whats changed?
I certainly dont want a 18 hour game.

Yes I do. I actually want a strategy element; how to spend my resources.
With regeneration you don't have a choice; you're always at full hp/mana after every combat.
In a resting system I can decide to rest a maximum of, let's say, 10 times. For RP (I don't want to waste too much time) and challenge reasons. And if there are places where you can't rest, even better, because it gets more interesting.
