Does this mean that there were no magisters that transformed into the Darkspawn?!

I noticed today that in Awakening when your in the fade...you are really close to the Black City...like literally...it's right there! It looks like you could swim too it.

Hehe. Swim to the Black City! That wouldn't be a bad idea t'all. Say, oh wise Maker, what happens if we can't go..but we SWIM to the Black City instead? Can we go then? 

Or is it all just a li,e like the cake?!

It was hilarious really, so if you look at the black sity from afar in Origins, does that mean that one of those floating islands next to it was actually the BlackMarsh?

The Black City is obviously where the final confrontation in the series will take place.



Not counting the inevitable DLC add-ons/expansions that come afterwards, of course.

Hey after BG2,  NWN oc and possible visits to Sigil, the city of doors
I'm not so sure he enters  the Black City as a human.

Didn't we get in trouble for this already?! You guys are adding insult to injury. The Maker will never return if you guys are taking regular trips to a city humans were never meant to enter. It's a crime against the Maker! Don't think the Chantry will over look your crimes David!! lol;) jk

Introducing the Black City as a place where we can actually go after all the intrigueing rumors we've heard so far will be putting a major strain on the devs to design something very, very good.

I'm certain I'd rather not go than be disappointed by what I see when I'm finally allowed in. Remember the hurried KOTOR II ending? (no, the comparison is not fair so far from what we've seen, but it makes a valid point)

Also, reaching the Black City, from what we've heard so far, will require something of a ridiculously epic and powerfull character - something like the epic levels in NWN or max level in BG2:ToB. I've personally rather enjoyed having to fight my way not that far, but still far enough to feel powerfull, so I don't know how my reaction will be if ever I end up something like that in the DA universe. I mean.. The setting just doesn't seem right for that kind of character - unlike the D&D universe, which is full of 'em.
