Hello World,
I have used my STEAM codes to register my game and redeem the Armor and Stone guardian, but I have had little luck with seeing this content in game. I found a thread with links to manual downloads, and have installed both of these DLCs.
Naturally, the Armor DLC appeared and is working fine. However the Steam bonus DLC Stone Guardian is showing up as "unauthorized." I have tried and waited for an answer from EA after registering my game there, but have not recieved a response.
I have rebooted, tried to manually start the DAupdateservice and set it to automatic - however it seems the game account and my bioware social account don't communicate very well. The log in is the same though.
Steam costumer support has not responded and has locked a few DLC problem threads already as they consider the problem solved or not theirs - so this is why I decided to post here.
thanks for reading.

I have a similar issue. It allowed me to download the extra content but the content has not moved into the installed content section. Is this a common problem?
Edit: double sparks post
It is important to note that I believe that the game doesnt believe that I have 1.0 installed as the requirements for the DLC is as such. Anyone else notice the red 1.0 in the description?

Graynore, have you clicked the redeem code button and put your code into the box that appears into your browser?

I noticed the 1.0 Requirement, but the unlockable Character Creator ring and the bundled Dragon Armor worked. Granted I had to manually download the dragon armor...I had no problem seeing it in game with my post patch steam version of DA.

Hey I fixed it after actually reading the DLC FAQ
installutil /u "C:\\Program Files (x86)\\Steam\\steamapps\\common\\dragon age origins\\bin_ship\\DAUpdaterSvc.Service.exe" installutil "C:\\Program Files (x86)\\Steam\\steamapps\\common\\dragon age origins\\bin_ship\\DAUpdaterSvc.Service.exe" net start DAUpdaterSvc

if your steam is on another drive..you must move your bin_ship dir or just the DAupdaterSvc.Service.exe to your drive C:
and of course, if you aren't running a 64bit OS, then your windows dir is different, without the (x86)
