And what if killing Flemeth (in DA O) was just a plan both Flemeth
and Morrigan had forged long ago - because Flemeth's spirit
can only posess a new host when the current body dies...
'make the fight look real but not impossible to win for the wardens!'

Heck, we simply don't know enough yet and I appreciate
surprises over staring at a crystal ball

Well, how does Hawke know anything about Flemeth anyway? DA 2 has Hawke, not the Warden as the main character. To be totally in character, I'll be totally clueless about Flemeth.. It'll be interesting to find out her angle though..

We'll probably be dealing with Flemeth without knowing its actually her.

That's the only way to keep the player clueless so that playing as Hawke still feels true to the fact that he has no idea who she is.

Otherwise, her experiences with The Warden would influence what we as a player do in DA2.

Both, if you ask me.

I'm actually wondering if maybe Flemeth planned for you to kill her. She told morrigan about a book that told her how she possessed the body of her daughters to stay young and knew they were going there. She didn't seem that surprised when you showed up to kill her. And even Morrigan didn't believe that would truly kill her. And the dark ritual was told to Morrigan by Flemeth.

What if she wanted be killed so not only Morrigan would feel safer and maybe let her guard down, but perhaps as a plan to possess the child. Maybe it actually helped her to possess the child without a body of her own.

She's going to ask me to nuke the Geth in ME3 and I'm going to do it.

If she asks me to kill Lee Johnston, she's getting her visor smashed. Bros before hoes.

Sorry, but Claudia Black's voice is trumped by Liz Sroka.

I liked Flemeth. I wish I had the option to bring Morrigan to her and make the whole thing easier for her. Infact, the only reason why I ever want to see Morrigan again is to make sure Flemeth kills her. I hate that woman.. well no not really. It's a love hate relationship.

Tis true.

Considering so far I´ve only romanced Morrigan and her personality Stupid Evil traits are because of Flemeth´s upbringing, no trouble for sending her for a new host (sorry for the host, but was going to happen anyway unless Morrigan can´t learn to block the possession).

If I can´t get a happy ending at all I´ll learn to mod to give my character Stormbringer before the last fight, at least there will be no more Flemeth.

I'm hoping for Flemeth as a party member. I won't kill her, unless she threatens Morrigan. In which case she's dead. Again

It's a theory. Though, I'm not sure why Flemeth would offer you the opportunity to walk away with her grimoire without a fight, if that were the case.

Maybe it was a test, perhaps she simply wanted to see which option you would take, or perhaps she believed you wouldn't accept it because you already came this far to protect her. But then again either way Morrigan gets the grimoire, which makes me wonder if the grimoire may not be all that it seems. Perhaps she had a reason for letting Morrigan have it. Although if that happened Morrigan would still be off her guard because she would believe that Flemeth's physical body was destroyed even though it wasn't.

Imagine if Flemeth only appears in Lothering, before you could kill her in origins, and she's actually dead if the Warden killed her One Winged Angel form.

A "person" that raises children only to take their bodies when she grows old is evil by my standards and should be dealt with swift justice.

She has been abducting and tormenting children only to destroy their identity and take over there body (an invasion even more heinous than rape) for who knows how many centuries?

How could anyone not want her dead?

It's too soon for me to decide.

On the one hand, sure, I'd kill Flemeth for Morrigan (again) if I had to.

On the other hand, I really thought I was going to kill Nathaniel Howe too, because I found Nate incredibly annoying in the Penny Arcade comic for Awakening. But in the end I decided to give him a chance and I soon found myself glad I kept him around.

There's really no telling what might be going on with Flemeth, either. I may end up wanting to leave her be.

Flemeth is a widespread legend in Ferelden.  Of course Hawke would know who Flemeth was, if only from the stories.

Also, yes. I would kill Flemeth again. Especially if she were voiced by Kate Mulgrew again. Worst. Random. Laughing. Ever.

She shapeshifts into a dragon : it's a walking bag of XP and loot, therefore it must die.

This.

Yeah my warden killed Flemeth due thinking it was probably the best thing to do with the information he had.  Now Hawke will be a different story, I am REALLY curious to see what Flemeth has to say about her side of things, and if she is the more attractive version now running around the Free Marches, why was she living as a hag in the middle of the wilds?  Not meant to be a snarky question, geneuinely curious.
