Stories should have permanent, irreversable endings that change the world that its set upon. if it does not have this, then its not story.

This is the main reason I rarely bother with superhero comics these days. There is no point. Reading them is like running a treadmill. It only feels as if a story is going somewhere. The rare times a well written story has enduring consequences that are not shoehorned in for shock value is when those comics shine. I prefer DC and Marvel in movies or cartoons these days since what happens, happened and is rarely taken back.

Also chalk me up disappointed that Power Girl is not returning. A BSN friend got me interested enough in her series after praising the Palmiotti-Gray-Conner run of issues. I bought the first few and actually grew to like the character despite a design that by most accounts should have sent me into eye rolling oblivion. It just felt kinda old school in a fun way. Guess I should be glad I did not invest too much time or money into it.

I own two comics:

-The killing Joke

-Hush

It all starts and ends with the bat for me. :)

Don't know, didn't read WW. I'm sure it won't matter soon anyway.

Isn't that Wonder Woman image from Flashpoint? Isn't it Amazons vs Atlantians? I saw the DC Website and I think that was on there.

I can't believe Power Girl is getting the ax! The worst part is they finally made her a strong Female character in the past 6 or 7 years.

Thing is, though, she already got a reboot 10 issues before, in the pre-Flashpoint series, which apparently now... ends?

Did some looking, they're keeping GL Kyle Rayner. He is leading a team of Rainbow Lanterns. Also, you gotta admit the new Harley Quinn looks pretty beast.

I thought that was only for the Arkham City tie-in comics.

DC is 'revamping' everyone. This is her new look for Suicide Squad.

I think the new look could work. Depends on what they do with her.

He was and it was a great read. But sadly Zatanna is yet another victim of the DC Wipe.

That is what I liked about Power Girl (and that run of you issues you said) good old superhero fun and someway, somehow it was not sexist even with her outfit and desigh like that.=]

But I still say she (and more) will be back with this relaunch soon (like a year or so) they always do.

Hate Marvel and I'm hating what little I'm hearing about a this DC reboot.
Harley looks stupid/trying too hard to be crazy.
Anyone read Green Lantern?

I do. Mostly the stuff with Kyle Rayner thought.
Also, Harley is crazy.

Yes and that should be evident without the stupid gettup. It actually ruins those moments where you DO realize she's actually crazy.

Kyle will be leading a rainbow brigade in the reboot. Called the 'New Guardians' and features one of each color lantern.

Guy Gardner and John Stewart will be in the Green Lantern Corps title. The Red Lanterns are getting their own book. And the star of the singular Green Lantern title isn't Hal Jordan. Its....Sinestro.

It really sounds like I'm making all that up, but its true.Image IPB

I know a lot of people hate that he was brought back, but I how Judd Winnick did it.  Some other writers haven't done as well with him.  Hopefully this will be good.

I'm a little surprised Judd isn't writing this title, though. If nothing else, the Art should be nice. Kenneth Rocafort is pretty good. But that baseball hat on Speedy just looks rediculous. At least he grew his arm back.

From Speedy/Red Arrow´s apparently two flesh arms in the picture it seems they retconned Cry for Justice away. So maybe it isn´t all that bad.

Did he lose an arm or something?
Are the Titans teen titans again?
