My primary profile shows 9 files uploaded somehow, and the profile image was replaced with a large bloody picture of Alistair that covers the red "delete" button... Is there any way to get rid of this abomination? Playing with the profile did nothing, I think it fails to upload because there were already too many files uploaded somehow...

You will need to reupload the character. If you have no space left you have to remove some files.
