Can someone please tell me how to solve this puzzle?? I have used the persuade/lie dialogue option but I am having trouble figuring out how the puzzle should go.

I tried searching if their was a thread like this before but the search function returned zero results.

are you talking about the flames thing? if so then you need to move the tiles so the flames go to the bottom right

Yeah its that puzzle. I know what the end result is suppose to be. I just don't know which pieces I need to move in order to get there.

On my first try, I couldn't figure it out either, until I realized that each tile has an arrow on it, pointing in the direction that the flames will go. Then it all became very simple

Best thing I can tell you is concentrate on the right side of the puzzle. Eventually, thru trial and error, you'll get it. It's not really all that difficult, just time-consuming.

I tried it both ways. The staff is pretty nice if your main is a low level mage, particularly with it's insane armor penetration, but it not even close to the helm in coolness let alone the belt. +3 all stats(!)

I am terribly god-awful at puzzles, but I attempted a go at it. Three tries later, I went onto youtube and copied the correct order down and attempt again, getting it. Puzzles will never be my strong side.

its easier if you do it backwards not that it makes that much of a difference

Yeah. Focus on the puzzle near the end, get everything lined up there. Makes it far easier. Just get 3-4 arrows pointing left in place there, and then it's a /lot/ easier.

That picture is different from how I got. Nice to see that there's multiple ways (which makes my failure even worse)

I solved the puzzle then killed Kitty :) Once you solves it she wants to possess the girl anyway even if she said she wouldn't. So I saved the girl but I was ready to let the cat go if she had kept her word.
