This is the continuation of the solo I had begun in the old forums. Not much to say. I uploaded some pictures in an album, but they are very small. Well anyways:

Now that I've thought about it, I've probably been using Simulacrum the wrong way. Obviously one could duplicate scrolls like protection from magic(infinitely) and defeat any kind of wizard but I consider it far too...well lets just say its flat out cheese. No, there are other more less cheesy ways to use simulacrum, such as loading the thing up with potions of heroism and other stuff to make it an empowered beast of battle. I find this method much more appealing.

Hope gets to Brynlaw and gets the wardstone from Perth. For the book of infinite spells, Hope goes with spell turning. True Sight would be nice, but for I've gave up on it with the third reload, there wasn't really any point to get true sight after several reloads as that just makes the realism that much more distant. Besides I think that the enemies in the final battle cast spell immunity anyways so there's really no doubt in my mind I can live without it.

The asylum is completed and Hope finds some arrows of dispel(5) in one of the rooms, an interesting find. Hope gets on a stolen ship and gets to a fish island, where she finds merchant whom will buy her goods at good prices. She sells all the spell scrolls and certain unnamed items which she did not need to begin with. At the end of this selling spree, Hope has more then 80k gold in her inventory.

The Spectator beholder is guarding the tooth, so Hope attempts to convince the beholder to leave but he doesn't so when Hope attempts to get at the tooth, the beholder attacks her and she is forced to GWW and kill him. After helping the rebels kill the king, Hope leaves with around 100k worth of gold thanks to the unselfish merchant. Hope makes it to the Underdark in due time, she begins her quest by killing elementals from the portals, and some minor drow party which she attempts to silence using the horn of silence. The underground dwarves to the north have a situation with a demon. This demon is taken care of with Simmy and Hope both wielding tansheron +3 and having kitthix as a meatshield for the stuns and both GWW the demon. The demon manages to fear Hope, but not the Simmy(who drank potions of heroism...not sure if this matters) in any case it is Simmy with GWW who pulls this one through.

Hope meets with the dragon Adalon and gets into the drow city.  While on a mission to save one of the drow handmaidens, Hope is ambushed by a party of adventurers. Hope gets backup from Simulacrum and the duo GWW there way out of danger. The mage is able to cast maze on Hope, however Hope kills the mage before the maze hits her, thus stopping the maze(I'm not sure how this works so don't ask).
After finishing up some of the quests sent by Phaere, Hope decides to tangle with the Kuo-Tuan Prince(sp). Hope uses their own stun bolts against them, stunning several of them and stalling enough for her to finish each of them off including the prince. GWW with stun bolts is magic in itself.

The escape from the Underdark is rather uneventful. Hope does take a trip to the Beholder city and dawns the cloak of mirroring. (Have not used this item since ever!) The item Hope needed, the greenstone amulet namely, is acquired. Upon coming back to the surface, Hope immediately assembles Crom Faeyr. This weapon gives her -15 THACO when equipped, pretty cool I'll say.

    Quest for the Gaxx Ring
The Shade Lich which gave Hope some trouble earlier, Hope has come back to slay. Armed with magic resisting potions, Hope can hopefully deal with the magic the lich tosses out. But it will not be Hope chugging these potions down, but her simulacrum, which wastes not want not...the potions will remain safe while Simmy buffs up and takes the lich down, which she does. One GWW does the lich in and the duo celebrate.
The elemental lich falls in a similar fashion. This time however, he cast a pit fiend which he horrid welting and mazed for some odd reason. Simmy took care of him easily.

Then it finally came to kangaxx. Hope used the same strategy, buffing up Simmy with saves and magic protection, but to no avail, Kangaxx ended up imprisoning them both. In another run, Simmy became unsummoned because the battle was long, so Hope simply used one of the protection from magic scrolls on herself and GWW kangaxx to death. I didn't see any viable alternative to this but whatever the case it worked. Ring of Gaxx is rather awesome.

    Watcher's Keep
First two levels are completed in due order. In the second level, to defeat the chromatic demon, Hope and Simmy both GWW at the same time and used Ibratha to mirror image.
In the third level, Hope was dominated by a succubus(or alu-fiend?) whichever, shield of harmony is equipped the next time. She is meeting an exceedingly difficult battle against the baatzu. I had defeated them once but did not save and was killed by resting in one of the rooms(not really a smart thing to do but without the option of portaling back to the stronghold in ToB this will have to do).

Hope finally was able to defeat the baatzu by essentially running around and killing off stranglers of the group. Hope had Simmy equip defender of easthaven and crom faeyr while she equipped shield of harmony and crom faeyr. One of the spellcasters(there were a ton of them) had a charm spell and this would end the game on the spot if cast. A GWW would usually cripple or kill one of the enemy however, with so many lightning bolts and other spells going about, it was difficult to find a strangler here or there to kill. The cornugans and the one wielding a trident were most difficult to deal with and had to be dealt with immediately. Luckily they would pause to cast a spell every now and then. The last ones left standing were the bone fiends, the ones Hope purposely ignored for the most part, they were the weakest link.

Interesting note: On the fourth level of Watcher's Keep there is a trap which mazes, and I used the HLA resist magic on Hope and it allowed her to resist the maze(I'm assuming it is maze). Another thing, there is a demi-lich in watcher's keep similar to kangaxx, I looked up the spell 'imprisonment' which is the wizard version of whatever the demi-lich throws out with range, there is no save or magic resister allowed, which means the only way a solo fighter(not a beserker or barbarian mind you) can get through this is with the pro magic scroll or perhaps something else(cloak of mirroring?) in any case, just wanted to point it out.

So the last globe to get in the fifth level, summons up two liches and Hope prepares with Simmy. I think that a tough battle will be ahead, but amazingly, the elemental lich helps me kill the other lich and the pit fiend that it summoned! Amazing. I forgot to equip the short bow dropped by one of the hobgoblins for simmy to shoot arrows of dispel. Turns out this was unnecessary.

An interesting encounter with a green dragon has lead me to believe that the dragons in Tob may not have been altered by tactics. Hope simply cast mirror image and let GWW rip, killing this green dragon who only bothered a paltry stoneskin on him(or herself). The nameless dragon died to the assault.

I'm having difficulty with the enemy party(one of the seals to demogorgon) but I'll let you know whats up later.

Continuation:

Finished off the first set of guardians in the final seal. Altogether they were too strong for Hope, but she divided and conquered by moving around the very large room and shutting and closing the huge gates in the area. More can be seen in the album. The next guardian key brought up several spiritlike enemies, Hope easily dispersed of them except for the mage who has some kind of immunity to weapons in general and which I will probably need to get a daystar for, if he is indeed an undead.

Turns out he didn't have immunity to weapons I just never bothered to attack him enough. He may have an infinite amount of spells though, who knows. Crom Faeyr and GWW deal with this one easily.

Hope's first encounter with the lich Azamantes didn't go that well. But patience is the key as I have learned.

The final key is the one with the lich Azamantes(spelling probably is incorrect). This lich had two flame skulls with him that could cast meteor storm. Hope and Simmy down them both with the azuredge and GWW. The lich has improved mantle(or some kind of mantle on) for quite sometime. Hope has to wait till all his protections come off, and then hit him with a GWW azuredge. Stoneskin plops up again. No biggie, Hope switches to Crom Faeyr which does electrical damage and then goes off on GWW once more. The lich is chunked.

Hope vs Demogorgon

Before the battle, Hope goes back into town to gather healing potions. To her surprise, upon returning to Watcher's Keep, the demogorgon is there ready to battle. He cast timestop and improved mantle upon himself and a couple of his demon friends. Hope retreats quickly to the stairs of Watcher's Keep. She casts Simmy, and has her drink magic blocking potion and potion of heroism. Both use mirror image and take down the demon friends of Demogorgon. Once Hope and Simmy finish up the demon pals, there is alot of running around going on. Everytime Hope returns demogorgon gates two of his pals in. Alone they are weak, but with Hope trying to kill demogorgon this takes a strenuous amount of time. So much in fact that simmy is unsummoned. Hope hides from demogorgon and rests(on one of the stairs). Rejuvenated, Hope and Simmy, both with mirror image start GWW demogorgon. Two of his pals get after Hope while Simmy continues to wail on demogorgon. Once his stoneskin has dropped, demogorgon starts taking several hits and eventually falls. Hope had used potions of invulnerability to raise her saving throws as well as some greenstone amulet charges to avoid getting stunned in this battle.

Some more arrows of dispel are found in the coffin in one of the new areas. Hope finishes up Twisted Rune, it was not as difficult as it is made out to be. With simmy buffed up hitting the wizards, the beholder, vampire and the other guy is taken out quite easily. The female mage with staff of magi is problematic but her most dangerous spell of maze can be solved by the HLA.

First Battle with Irenicus

I'll skip ahead to here, suffice to say Hope used Simmy and pumped her full of potion of magic blocking and had her jam up Irenicus' time. Of an interesting note, one of the summoned swords was about to get mazed but it got unsummoned before the spell could hit(because it was during a timestop). Once Jon's protections wore off, another summoned sword(Ras) kept him distracted for Hope to land the final GWW on him.

Second Battle with Irenicus

This time it was tougher, or perhaps the difference is neglible, whatever the case, the demons Irenicus used were quickly disposed of with GWW from both Simmy and Hope. When Simmy became unsummoned, Hope used the same strategy as in the previous battle, summoning the swords up and kitthix as a distraction for a few rounds. The slayer form of Irenicus actually regenerates, so Hope's strategy of pumping him full of azuredge wasn't really working as his regeneration rate allowed him to heal back up. Hope herself chugged a potion of healing(of the extra large variety) and then dove in with crom faeyr. With no mirror image, Hope had no protection from the slayer Irenicus' blows, but it would be Hope that did the most damage with her GWW back to back. Here ends the completion of SoA.

Some comments before the next stage: Hope has been primarily using Crom Faeyr and shield of harmony. She wears the greenstone amulet(now will be the seldarine amulet). Ibratha has played a much larger role as the enemies deal much more damage then in the beginning. Stoneskin would be nice as well, however gargoyle boots are a long way off. I'll will relist the mods as they concern this particular stage of the game virtually everything is ascension except for the yaga shura bout because my computer has always crashed on that particular ascension battle. Updated album.

Illasera's Attack

A bhaalspawn by the name of Illasera launched an offensive upon Hope. Hope got simulacrum out and ignored the black reavers and started GWW Illasera. Not much else to this battle, Illasera falls.

Fight with Gromnir

This battle was about threat perception. And Hope used up a charge of the resurrection rod. This fight had several named persons and in the first two runs Hope had Simmy go after the mages seperating the two. Well what occurred was that the enemy combatants focused on Simmy while Hope struggled against a lone named fighter. This caused Simmy to die and Hope to be alone and running around for dear life with azuredge ending in a loss eventually. The solution to the problem was Hope and Simmy sticking together and focusing on the closest enemy at hand, which was a fighter while the other enemies struggled to swarm the two. In the end, the two combined to kill a single enemy faster then the others could swarm them and the battle ended up to be quite easy. With decent magic resistance and very good saving throws, the mages weren't much of a threat.

Fire Giant Rumble

A large group of fire giants awaits Hope in the entrance of the domain of Yaga Shura in Marching Mountains. It is an entertaining battle between brawlers, but Hope comes out on top putting her invisibility rings and sword summons to use. It feels good to actually use these tactics.

Hope Vs Yaga Shura(and his army)

This battle proved difficult for Hope, she needed to run around the area trying to find if she could get some leverage against Yaga Shura, but the cleric and mage of his army(apparenty these are his lieutenants) managed to make things difficult for her. She needed to use another charge of the resurrection rod(she has three of these rods and they should all have around eight to ten). Azuredge proved once again useful. While Hope was able to pick off some of Yaga Shura's army, more reinforcements came and then Hope came to realization that it was Yaga Shura who she should be going against. The cleric(probably cleric/ranger) managed to get off insect plague against Hope so she had to frantically run around to avoid it. The wizard attempted to cast some symbols(stun and fear) on Hope however she saved against those easily. Finally Yaga Shura parked himself somewhere and Hope GWW with azuredge against him. Everytime the axe hit Yaga Shura it opened a bit of a stun window thus giving her time for another hit. Eventually GWW azuredge took him down and it was back to the miniplane for Hope.

Hope VS dark Hope

The Solar speaks of debt and Hope is lead into an experience where she is able to see how things would've been if Gorion had saved Sarevok instead of her. This darker Hope had companions so Hope cast Simmy Hope and had her GWW against dark Hope. Both dark Hope and Simmy Hope GWW, but apparently it is simmy Hope that is stronger of the two. Hope herself takes out one of the named companions of dark Hope and eventually Hope and Simmy pull through a rather easy challenge.

Smuggler's Cave

In Amekran(spelling?) there is a smuggler's cave and Hope sells all the full plates and chain mail+3 she nabbed off the Tethyrian forces she defeated earlier in the Oasis. Along with stuff she could not use already that she had picked up earlier, she accumulated over 500k worth of gold, this should be enough to fully recharge her rods of resurrection(three of them) as well as buy stuff she may need to prepare for the big battles to come. She buys gargoyle boots, endiku's plate, as well as other stuff that she deemed useful(rod of reversal or something like that).

I think that once they put Valhilor's helm (simmy helm) into the game, soloing anything but a mage got ridiculously easy. I want to see what you do against the lich in Amkethran and the Nalmissra and co. in Watcher's keep

After you get the rod of reversal in the smuggler's cave(as well as that nice throwing axe +4), most liches become a snoozefest, Vangothe is no different. I do not speak of the demi-lich however, that is a fight I know I cannot do unless I dupe the protection from magic scroll via simmy. I'm unsure if cloak of mirroring protects against imprisonment, but I know that the scroll does.  At this level, using shield of order, the saves are gigantic for the fighter and most spells tossed against her, she usually saves against.

I'll agree that Vhailor's Helm is a very powerful item for the fighter.

Battle with Sendai

Sendai has several statues erected for her pleasure and to use against Hope. Some of Sendai's drow guard are apparently still alive and are busy busting in and causing havoc against Hope. Hope had to use a rod of reversal charge against one of the statues but other then that she was very pleased with the results. Suddenly a pit fiend was gated in by one of the statues and started causing a big commotion and Hope was able to move away from the fighting enemies. After some of the drow were slain by the pit fiend and the fiend was finally unsummoned, Hope went back to work picking off the drow and killing the rest of the Sendai statues until finally Sendai herself showed up. There wasn't much of a difference in this battle, Hope GWWed Sendai and she died. All which remained were all of Sendai's summoned spiders and skeleton warriors, but before Hope could deal with them, she was whisked back to the portal plane to face off with Slayer Hope.

    Hope vs Slayer Hope

Hope uses ibratha's mirror image and goes to work on Slayer Hope. After a couple GWW, Slayer Hope falls.

Hope Vs Draconis

In what can be described as difficult battle, Hope has stumbled onto a problem. Draconis is a fast dragon(Hope needed to stack amulet of cheetah speed and taralash+4 to keep up), and he cast stoneskin on himself everytime the rod of reversal takes his protections off. He summons what seems to be an infinite amount of invisible stalkers and during what seemed to be Hope's victory, those invisible stalkers actually saved him. Now, in order to even match up with Draconis, Hope bought some protection from acid scrolls back in town, but these are easily negated by Draconis' remove magic which he occasionally casts. Now, here's the good news, wand of cursing actually did something and almost brought Hope the victory, by silencing Draconis. This did not stop Draconis from casting stoneskin on himself however, I'm considering using crom faeyr or flail of the ages on Draconis because he does seem to have an endless amount of stoneskins as well(this was after probably thirty minutes of real time running around). Without the scrolls, Hope can get up to fifty percent acid resistance. Her real only chance is to get the wand of cursing active against Draconis before he summons a bunch of invisible stalkers which ended up clogging and trapping Hope. These invisible stalkers by the way cannot harm Hope at all. It was those efreeti summoned in Draconis' human form which could. The throwing axe is useless because of the stoneskins Draconis likes to put up. Rod of reversal only takes the stoneskin down but does not do much of anything else.

The tale of the winning battle is much different then the solution above however. As Hope continued to use the charges off rod of ressurection, wand of cursing, and the rod of reversal in a desperate bid to defeat the dragon, all seemed in vain. But there is a pattern to the beast named Draconis, and Hope began to see this as well. Draconis cast his spells and he seemed to have an endless supply, but there are moments in which Hope did see a chance. This was after Draconis grew tired of casting remove magic on Hope, who did not even bother using the scroll of acid protection anymore, she just used rod of resurrection as her 'heal'. Draconis continued to save and get 'magic resistance' against the wand of cursing, it is a wonder why Hope continued to use it anyways(not like she had another choice). She did not equip taralash+4 instead she simply donned amulet of cheetah speed this time, noticing the slight difference in speed between only having boots of speed on.(Not quite sure if there is a difference but there seemed to be, I can't remember what movement increases each item possessed anyways). After another long chase where Draconis played the cat and Hope the mouse, Draconis wing buffeted Hope, and Hope then saw her chance when she was cornered in the stairs area(shown in the album). She had mirror image on and began to GWW Draconis with Crom Faeyr. Hitting him not once or twice, but several times, on back to back GWW. He feel within a minute or so and all that remained were all the useless invisible stalkers he had summoned to clog and trap Hope(but to no avail this time).

All this has gotten Hope frightened about the future in which she will need to face even greater challenges ahead.

note

I regret to inform everyone that I was unable to complete the improved version of the Abby battle and thus have uninstalled the component. I have certain theories about what items could have been used in such a battle but because my previous saves do not go all the way back to where such an item is(staff of air) and the storm star mace which I skipped the component of, I have decided to go on without completing the improved version. Hope does defeat Abby(the normal version) in a similar fashion as she did Draconis so I will not go into detail upon that. I'm unsure if Hope can finish Ascension however I will make the attempt.

I doubt anyone would hold that against you. You've gotten a lot futher than I personally would ever hope to using a kitless solo fighter given the level of patience it requires so kudos from me for that for whatever it's worth. Keep the updates (and pictures) coming and good luck with Ascension Mellisan. ;)

Balthazar's Army
The last member of the Five had a rather competent army in town, and Hope had to fight this army. Using most of the charges on her three rods of resurrection as well as having Simmy accompany her, made this battle doable(I'm sure if such components were not available, simply running around alot with the throwing axe would certainly do fine as well). There were no special tricks in this fight, just a pure melee fest. Hope's new weapon the Gram of Grief did manage to level drain some of the monks, but the mercenaries saved. But level draining a monk here and there did not really change the outcome or difficulty, rods of ressurection allowed Hope to stand up and fight for awhile. Crom Faeyr turned out to be the better weapon to smash into the army. Whatever the case, the army ceased to exist and Hope recharged all her rods and the greenstone amulet.

Talking with Balthazar
Instead of fighting Balthazar, Hope recruits Balthazar by wearing ring of influence and drinking potion of insight.

First phase: Hope vs Irenicus
With Balthazar as her ally, she faces down Jon Irenicus and Bodhi. Using Mace of disruption +2 and reflection shield, and wearing cloak of mirroring(yes yes I'm using it) Hope summons Simmy and has her tear down Bodhi immediately with the mace of disruption. Bodhi dies within moments, and the threat of any sort of level drain dissolves along with it(Even in cloud mode, she must save vs death or be destroyed). The mace is needed no more needed and Crom Faeyr is now equipped. Balthazar distracts Jon Irenicus and his many clones(simmy and project image) while the fallen solars cause havoc among Hope and Simmy with insect plague(or creeping doom). Reflection shield helps against the solars because they like to shoot arrows. The solars hold the advantage and imprison Simmy. But the duo of Hope and Balthazar continue to rain terror upon the solars. When it is only Irenicus, all his clones have disappeared, and he is continually knocked back by Balthazar and level drained by Hope(using Grim, the sword of grief). Eventually he is weakened enough to be killed.

First Demon Battle
The resulting demon battle was far too hard at insane, so I made the decision to drop down to core. This allowed Hope and Balthazar to defeat the demons. Hope buffed with the greenstone amulet and a potion of heroism first.  The nasty cambions would be the last of the demons to fall in this battle, but their morale loss was evident at the very end after all their brethren had taken a beating. Hope decides against using the pool at this time and continues with the next battle. (In hindsight it didn't really matter, conservation of a 'rest' did not matter for any of the demon battles)

Second Demon Battle
The level draining Nabussas were killed quickly by Hope(after using the same buffs of course) equipping the runehammer. The alu-fiends were of no cause for concern with greenstone amulet, and the duo of Balthazar and Hope plowed through this particular demon battle easily.

Third Demon Battle
This time it was once again a difficult battle but Simmy was back in full force! Both Hope and Simmy use spectral brand to get out two sword summons, and both use greenstone amulet to protect against charm/hold and all that other good stuff. Hope attempts to control the Balor but fails because I believe she was hit. But no problem, Simmy is the backup! And she succeeds with 'control demon' and the Balor becomes a good guy. With Balor keeping the Marileth and other fiends occupied, Hope takes out the stray Nabussa, quickly and precisely. "No more level drain!" she saids, as Simmy and Balthazar hold the fort down by blocking the energy connection area. Something happened to Simmy, but it doesn't matter, Hope kills the cambion on the outskirts and joins up with Balthazar and the Balor(now at 'Near Death') against the Marileth. She is knocked back and killed and thus ends the final demon battle.

Battle with the Five and Mellisan
I would first like to note that for some reason if the game lingers about for too long it simply crashes. I also decided to make use of the pro magic scroll because of this fact.

Hope uses stoneskin from gargoyle boots and then turns the pool to replenish everything lost. Hope chugs down a potion of storm giant strength, potion of heroism, and potion of invulnerability. With Simmy out, both of them set out their targets for protection from magic scrolls. Abby gets one, as well as Sendai. A funny thing occurred, when Hope used 'Focus' is that after Sendai's timestop, the scroll came about her. Just an interesting note. But the danger was not over, and the Five were still quite powerful, along with Sarevok and Gromnir(well truthfully Sarevok doesn't do much in this fight at all since Hope and her allies are immune to his weapon). Equipping flail of the ages, and reflection shield, Hope set to work, attempting to weaken a few of the Five, especially Illasera. Illasera was the main reason to equip reflection shield. If she were to fall, Hope could definitely wield another shield. After a few well placed hits with the flail of ages, Illasera falls and Hope and Simmy gleefully charge at Gromnir, hoping to finish this nasty opponent next(no pun intended).

Gromnir is attacked mercilessly, and has soon lost all of his morale turning pale and begins to run around frantically in a panic. He falls to Hope, who nails him with the throwing axe and this is just about the time which Simmy is unsummoned. I cannot remember the finer details but I do believe Sendai dies during this time period as well, probably to Simmy. Balthazar on the other hand is holding down the fort against Mellisan and her cohorts Yaga Shura and Abby. When Gromnir falls Hope turns her attention to Abby, and with the protection from Magic scroll erected upon him, he's not looking quite that tough anymore. Free hits anyone? He doesn't last that much longer to Hope's GWW and combo weapon of flail of ages and the throwing axe, all that remains is Yaga Shura and Mellisan, and its a game of two on two.

Balthazar is soon taking too much damage and Hope realizes that she cannot control Balthazar the way she would like to, and no amount of charges from the rod of ressurection can really save him. He gets chunked and it is Hope versus Melly and Yaga Shura. Now in this final bout, Hope is curious as to why the behavior of the two seem to be quite passive. No matter what the case, it takes a fair amount of time to bring down Yaga Shura's life. Most of the time he just stands there casting what looks like draw upon holy might, taking hits from Hope's throwing axe. Other times he's just a punching bag for the flail of the ages. But like a mother cat Mellisan dolefully moves back towards Yaga Shura to scare off Hope. Hope doesn't want to get near Mellisan until Yaga falls. Finally Yaga falls and the world around seems to collapse. Mellisan realizes that she's mortal now and now Hope sees the finish line staring at her point blank.

Melly heals herself and erects some kind of mantle, so Hope flees and hides in a corner and waits for the mantle to wear off. Hope also tries to use 'Focus' appropriately, but it is tough to predict when this insane villain is going to use time stop. No matter what another brawlfest is awaiting. Melly likes to dish out the bhaalspawn abilities, which Hope could've done as well, but decided not to. The fight continues, and Hope wields the flail of the ages and uses up the rest of her greater whirlwinds. The two of them run around trying to find an opening until the battle resumes in the south east pool with both combatants using greater whirlwind. When Melly opens up with hers, Hope retreats and just uses the throwing axe. Eventually if not finally, Hope manages to bring down Mellisan! And then the Solar comes down, ressurrects Balthazar and tells Melly to shove it. The Solar offers Hope(and Balthazar) a few options and both siblings refuse the bhaalspawn essences.

So in conclusion: Game was defeated on Core difficulty
In summary, the fighter class is impressive but generally speaking one must really know what items to get and be very patient which I seemed to lack at the very end part of the game. But it was still an exciting experience which surprised me, especially the final battle. Well thank you for reading, and I'll probably get some additional pictures loaded up on the album very soon.

Congratulations on your success! I agree with your affirmation on the fighter class. They can be real exciting but generally speaking since their strenghts manifest themselves comparitively early in the game the gameplay has the tendency to get repetitive rather quickly. Since level ups pretty much boil down to slightly more HPs and later on "1 more GWW or Hardiness," most of your combat and character customization boils down to switching items around to find the right combo for the right situation.

Still that was an impressive display of tenacity and patience on your part, maybe when you're feeling masochistic again you can try doing this with a Monk character? (I kid I kid!)

Good job on your run.

A monk run would probably be similar to a fighter, I can definitely see how it would work, but I'm not too giddy on that part. I'm most likely going to do some kind of randomized challenge again that I thought of back in the day....well I guess that's that....
