Maybe the Illusive man was on Shanxi, who knows. By the look on that picture I say it is very likely plus they state that it takes place when humanity discovered how dangerous discovered how dangerous the galaxy really is.

Disappointed that this is set for release in Jan 2011. Just means we have to wait even longer for ME3, and preemptively confirms that the Illusive Man will survive the coming book, and play a role in ME3.

Of course he'll survive in the comics, they're a prequel series set before TIM was even part of Cerberus (or possibly created it).

Oh, my bad. Disregard.

I actually hope he does though... just so my Shepard can kill him herself.

And yes... I mean my Paragon one. The one who avoids killing in most cases and tries to save lives. TIM is an exception, because more lives will be saved with him dead.

Sounds cool. Cooler than the last comic at least. At some point though, the Illusive Man must say "yooman". It's essential to his character.

I heard the other comic series was rather lousy, I intend to pick this one up however, TIM seems increasingly badass.

Yeah, like all those lives that would have been saved if the Illusive Man had been dead and hadn't saved Shepard and given him near limitless resources to defeat the Collectors. Oh wait....

Yeah. It was more like TIM resurrected Shepard so that he could have the greatest human hero of his time as his personal lapdog than anything noble. Shepard should be getting the credit for what he/she did after TIM brought him back, not TIM.

^ and hopefully shepard will. i'd like to see the emphasis back more on being a spectre and council, the overall good, rather than the fringes again, like in me2.

btw, next comic series, if it's still omar francia on the art, i can't see it being any better than redemption, although walters may be able to capture more of TIM's character right, than he did Liara's.

Okay why does young TIM look like Charlie Sheen?

OH! .... I get it...
