Hi there.
Ingame sometimes the keyboard stops responding, i push a button and nothing happens.
I can still use the mouse, usually when this happens I exit the game and start up it again.
Also had problems when I can not target any characters. I can move around with the one that was selected when the problem ocured but the other characters is like frozen and non selectable.
Have happend 2-3 times and also a restart of the game fixes this problem.
After playing for a few hours the loading of areas, loading of a save, saving a game, traveling in the world map screen takes more and more time.
A restart of the game fixes this problem also.
Had a problem where the Blood Dragon Armor piece you get from start disappeared from my inventory.
This occur when i played a dwarf noble and discoverd it when I was in jail, all my grear was gone and I didn not get it back.
I fixed this like this: A save then disable the Blood Dragon Armor in the DLC menu, reload the save and made another save, then I enable the Blood Dragon Armor and reloaded the save.
Hope that these problems/bugs will be fixed in next patch.
Thanks for a great game BioWare.

are you running the config software for it? cause if you are, it's probably something with the game interferring with that particular program and it might need to be updated

Same thing happens to me. I have a Logitech MX1100/Wave Cordless Mouse/Keyboard combo and it seems to just happen for no reason.

I'm having this same problem with cordless desktop Wavepro mouse/keyboard combo.
I installed the latest Logitech driver but it didn't help.
I wish someone solved this problem somehow.

Having the same problem with both mouse (MS cordless) and keyboard (saitek usb)... any solution yet? Always happens while I'm in a conversation screen. Pointer still works, just can't click on anything (nor select any conversation options with the keyboard).

I had the same problem where the mouse and keyboard started giving spurious inpts after playing Dragon Age for about 20 minutes. I tried everything - spent hours trrying to figure out the problem (drivers, software, reloading windows, replacing the keyboard and mouse, etc).
I finally forund the solution. I have a Core I7 chip (4 Cores) and had Multi-Threading enabled in my Bios (which made it 8 Cores). I disabled Multi-Threading and BINGO!!! it now works just fine with no problems whatsoever. This fix should also apply to 2 Core Chips that have been Multi-threaded to 4 Cores.
This will fix your problem!

It's always the simple solutions, if your looking for them.
This isn't on Bioware, this is individual systems and how their equipment is configured.(including updated drivers and firmware)

For some reason this update in 1.03 does not work well with other programs. What i did to fix it was to go into msconfig and keep all micrsoft program running and disable everything else. So far after and hour or 2 no more lock ups. hope this helps

just FYI, this is still a consistent problem and no it is not on the individuals. I have a plan vanilla dell 101 keyboard and mouse and they both stop working in game, have to alt+f4 out of the game. Gets frustrating as there is no guessing when this will happen; can happen in 5 minutes or after 2 hours. Have to admit this game was disappointing to me for a bioware game; not the game content, but the show stopping bugs, frequent crashes, losing control, etc and still a problem after all this time
