What he meant was

"If I say yes, casual cover shooter fans who think RPGs just mean good cutscenes and shooting robots will be happy. But if I say no, only D&D nerds will be happy. There is no good answer that will appease D&D nerds and COD mic screaming tea baggers, and we want to sell a lot of units"

Guys, what the cr@p is so difficult to understand about a guy acknowledging that there is some truth to the question?

Indeed. Not quite means, to me: "Some things are, but for the most part, no".

Not quite could mean anything ranging from yes to no. Politicians use it all the time when the answer is yes but dont want to admit that.

Example

"Are we lost?"

"Not quite, I just dont know where we are."

Edit: I think it is interesting to note that in another interview that was posted on these forums that Greg Zeschuk (it was either Greg or Ray, I cant remember) seemed to regard the success of Origins as a fluke when it comes to the fact that it outsold both Mass Effect and its sequel showing that he has a clear bias towards Mass Effect.

My favorite leap of logic in this thread is when someone compared Ray's answer to Jerry Seinfeld being a pedo. That was hilarious.

Hate to say it but the good doctor also said their would be nudity in DA:O love scenes (well actually he didnt say there wouldnt be and strongly hinted it would be mature in nature and refused to rule out nudity) so you cant really take what he says at face value anymore.

They sold to EA so now they just placeholder figure heads around to promote products.

I really hope its not going ME2 route but we need to see more info to know.
All I know for sure right now is based on info I have, I wont be buying opening day and will wait for the $20.00 steam version.
If Bioware can prove its not going the ME2 route ill then buy the full price product but if they prove they have gone the ME2 route ill not bother buying at all!
So more info can change a minimal sale in their favor or against their best interest, time will tell

So, he never actually said there would be nudity, and there wasn't, so now we shouldn't trust him? Posted Image
The Good Doctors are now placeholder figure heads who now have more people under them including Mythic? If anything, sounds like they have more work and do a lot more than just promote products. Mass Effect is all shooting, instant biotic powers, and dialogue. Likely DA2 will have the dialogue from Leliana's Song (ME-ish), but I can't imagine it having the same combat, likely it'll stay the same as the screenshots strongly suggest.
