Because it would be silly to criticise a game we know little about (outside of various reasonable inferences), I have decided instead to critique the original and express my hopes for the sequel. I will make a list that stretches several
posts, rather than one long ultra post, because I don't like boring people:

So, without further ado...

-Crafting: I think crafting was overly complicated; at times, I thought "well, I ought to find some merchants, buy some recipies, and get some ingredients for an injury kit." But I rarely went through with it, because it was too much of a hassle  for a reward that didn't seem very large, especially after Wynne joined the party. I'm sure if I were sufficiently clever, I could have come up with some wicked strategies for poisons and trap making; but the effort required was too much. Treat poisons and traps like abilities ala ammo types in ME2 (blasphemy!), I think, and they will be more rewarding. Heck, treat poultices/kits in the same way as medi-gel; used to revive fallen party members, or in this case to remove status effects as well.

-Loot: Another case where ME gets it right. I think far less loot would be a good thing. My idea of a good time does not involve picking clean every corpse of all it's goodies. Also, it would be nice if I didn't need to agonize over every dead guy to ensure I'd looted him; auto-looting combined with far fewer loot drops would be far more enjoyable.

-Weapons and Armor: I don't like changing gear every few quests. Firstly, it reduces the quality across the board (better armor is just reskinned sans a few special armor sets), and secondly, it doesn't make sense.I actually prefer having a consistent costume for my characters; Morrigan is a classic example. She was very memorable for a lot of reasons, but among them was the fact that she had a costume with a personality! That's not to say that you shouldn't pick up an awesome new weapon every now and then, but it's a lot more spectacular if it's every now and then instead of all the time. (For the record, DAO didn't have the player switching gear a whole lot, but it was more often than I liked).

Those are just my two cents. I don't think they are TOO blasphemous, are they?

I think it would be cool if you could always customize the way your armor/outfit looked on the fly. Example: If I put chain mail on my warrior and don't like the way it looks, then I can alter it to another model of chain mail armor. Or (using DA:O items) I pick up a mage robe that's the standard, human robes in green I can edit it to be one of the short-sleeved tevinter types (possibly with a color change but I don't think that's as important). I'm not sure if other games have done this, but I suspect tha they have.

Yes! I would love that! Personalizing your characters armor would really add personality. If I ever imagine a fantasy character, it's not just their facial structure I care about; it's what they are wearing. Since it's a video game, I ought not be restricted very much in this department, except for ridiculous things.

I liked the looting in DA:O, not to much and not to little. I'd like a little more variation in armors, but besides that, all good.

I had a similar problem with the crafting >_>

I could not disagree more on these 2 points. Finding new, better gear and switching around gear on your party members is to me one of the most enjoyable aspects of the game (and other RPG's in general for that matter). About consistent costumes... when I finally found and equiped the armor of the legion (and later sentinel), I just totally loved it. It also adds some mystique to the game, finding some ancient armor\\sword.

Furthermore, these are LONG games. I like changing up the gear every now and then to keep my characters looking fresh.

I'd even go one further and would like to see more variety in the different gear (different mage hats, anyone?)

I also loooove looting in rpg's. For ME2 it was the right choice to take it out, but please keep it in DA2.

As for potion\\trap crafting. Didn't use it too much myself. Didn't find myself needing it to progress. so wouldn't be heartbroken to see that go.

Oh, I'm not saying you shouldn't find new gear at all; rather, that it should happen less frequently.
