I don't know if my eyes are deceiving me, but there was at least one screen shot where limbs of darkspawn was strewn about.   Are we able to cut them down literally in DA2?

He accidently dropped his glove in an high intense screenshoot, Hawke refused to reshoot the movie scene so they went with it. The man didn't get payed, though.

Sounds more like a step towards 'dark fantasy' to me. I like it.

I hope so. It was very strange where severed body parts just evaporated after they left the main body in DAO.

Cosmetically, it adds a more mature, realistic feel to the game, but I guess unless the overall themes and feeling of the ENTIRE game aren't change then it doesn't count as dark

If it's possible for a hobo from Dust Town to become a badass, Lothering refugees are more than capable.

Yeah, but at least the hobo was a dwarf, everyone knows that dwarves are badasses in general.

A new death blow, or general combat move then?

Probably a finishing move, Hawke certainly looks like he has some anger management issues

But the hobo was a thug, the refugee is.. a refugee.
