 Maybe I had too much paragon points, but with the 2 confrontations of Jack/Miranda and Legion/Tali.... if you side with one of the poeple, you lose loyalty with the other person?

Not sure. I know that last time around I was like 95% paragon and the "be the better woman" option for miranda was still grey. I have a feeling that choosing the paragon or renegade option will allow you to have loyalty from both of them, but I also have a feeling that it requires 100% paragon / renegade before the suicide mission to do.

Maybe someone else that knows a little more can shed some light on it.

I've always been able to do the paragon resonses, and I never try and maxamize paragon points. I always get my class skill up to 4 pretty quick though, and I know that affects your persuade options too.

Ah, that's probably it. I didn't have that many points in my class skill.

How the loyalty confrontations work.

for Miranda and Jack the earlier in the game you get to it the esier it is,for Legion and Tali it's how many points you have. Renegade points come easier than paragon points.
