 I really dig the music of DAO in general, but in particular love the opening with the lady singing in what I suppose is Elvish.

Title screen music is EPIC! I hope it, or something similar is in DA2, when you think about it, that music has become iconic for the DA universe.

Yes it is elvish.
I personally would like it if they did a dwarven version for DA2.

I personally love listening to the soundtrack.

It came with the game download

The opening song to me is heart wrenching - so beautiful.

And yes, EPIC is a good word!

I like the soundtrack too. I'd like some repeated motifs from the original music, but new music would be nice too. Hopefully the same composer does the score (I can't think of his name off the top of my head).

I agree here, I am hoping for some new music folded into the score, but I think it would be great to keep the opening music there, kind like the main theme to star wars or the raiders march for the indianna jones films.

When I hear the starting vocals, it brings a tear to my eye.



Once the vocals stop and the song goes into a more serious fighting theme, I hate the song and I just go immediately into the game.

Love the song but it probably won't return. I'm sure a new main theme will be made, one that's more appropriate to the theme of the story in Dragon Age 2

Oh I'm sure they probably will have new music for this game just as each episode of Star Wars had some music that was unique, but they also shared music which gives a nice sense of atmosphere, continuing world and all that.  I just thought the first music we heard in DAO was rather great and it would be nice to continue to serve as the entry point for future DA games.
