I'll put money on that bet. Even though I didn't have a gay romance in DA:O I appreciated it was in there. I would LIKE bioware to give people a similar option in DA:2, but I'm not putting money on them doing so.

Lesbians = controversy BUT $$$$$

Gay guys = controversy but not as much $$$$$

This time, the main character has a definite poster-boy face, like Shepard. It's a more defined and singular character, I don't know if their gonna wanna market/associate him as being bisexual or gay.

It's always seemed that way to me, as well. The main Mass Effect folks have always felt distant, though that may just be my imagination. I don't blame them, to be honest... I found there was very little that interested me being discussed on the ME forums, so I haven't spent much time there myself.

None of that will happen when the ME3 forum opens.

Sure doesn't do anything for me, but if the forum fangirls are any barometer, some women do find it hot.  There is also that very scary realm of slashfic which sometimes is written by women.  Soooo, I think this is a stereotype.  It's just that games aren't marketed to women anyway, so who cares what we like.

I agree, just as in old Larry games you had to answer a few questions at game start, we could start with questions in DA2 too, including the question "Are you gay?" and the answer would lock/unlock game content

Ah yes perhaps DA2 should be able to determine if the player is gay and then accommodate accordingly?

I think it doesn't matter because as long as we enjoy it.. I don't care if plently of straight women also enjoy it (I mean, I'm glad they enjoy it as well).
