I wish to tweak the Mass Effect 2 settings on my computer. I found out how to do so and searched for the above file on my computer and it was not there. Any advice?

I didn't reply earlier because I have no clue how to help. :/ All I can do is ask you the "is your computer plugged in" type questions like "have you run the game at least once."
To be clear, you did locate the Mass Effect 2 folder under Program Files, it's just that Coalesced is not there?

Actually, since I posted this i have found the file. BUT, there is still a problem. It will not let me save the file. I have downloaded everything (FYI: Notepad++ and Ruby Forge) the instructions said to and it won't let me save the file.

I've seen suggestions on other boards about not being able to save the file is that you save your edited on on the desktop. Then delete the one in Cooked. and the paste the edited file back into the Cooked folder.
