So, after a year of thread inactivity, all of a sudden I'm seeing many custom avatars showing up "Xed out" (mine included - even dunniteowl's!).
Anyone know what's going on?

Whaddaya mean "X"-ed Out? Like; not there anymore? Because that shizzle's done with, my man. I missed it, I guess. RL takes me away some times. Looks like it's working now...

It's probably too early in the morning for me, but the blog says: "...if you don't have DA:O PC". Well, nor I have a PC (I have a mac) or DA:O.
And then I read this:
"4. Move your avatar to the file location of your pre-release characters. In my case, this was documents>bioware>dragonage>pre-release"
"6. Open the Character creator and create a new character. Name it xxxx or whatever you replaced that with when making the portrait."
