Ladies and gentlemen, while everyone is debating about who will voice Hawke, I began wondering who will be voicing the dirtbag or dirtbags depending on how many main antagonists the game will contain. Now, I ask you fellas: Despite the fact that we have no confirmed bad guy/girl/thing yet, who would you like to voice them?

My picks are Andy Serkis (especially him), Steven Berkoff (nearly as much as mr. Serkis there), and Mike Patton for the male category and Race Davies for the female category.

Coincidentally 3 of them (Serkis, Berkoff, and Davies) appear in this video. Those familiar with Heavenly Sword will recognize them.
As for Mike Patton, he could voice some really creepy demon. I mean, just listen to this. Posted Image

Though I'm afraid that having Andy Serkis on board is gonna be really hard. He's rather busy with movies this time of the year. Posted Image

So... any thoughts on my picks? Be sure to suggest your own too.

That video reminded me of Robert Knepper. He'd make an excellent (albeit more psychotic) Howe-like antagonist imo.

I was going to suggest Richard Ayoade

But Clancy Brown sounds way more appropriate

Alan Rickman would be awesome as any evil type character. Clancy Brown is also a great choice.

I'm just hoping they include a good female villain (villainess). Sure, Cauthriene/Branka/Flemeth were pretty good in DAO... but I want a woman who is either very cunning and manipulative or straight out brutal/viscous, or perhaps a mix of both. The last villainess who I can recall in a Bioware game who intimated and scared me was Grand Inquisitor Jia from Jade Empire, albeit that had a lot to do with her appearance... that face! *shudder*

I'd rather the main villain wasn't female. Bioware haven't had a lot of luck with female main villains.

And while I would like a good female major antagonist from Bioware, I'd rather they'd play it safe for this game.

I would like to see Tim Curry again, I didn't think playing Arl Howe did him justice.

I also vote for Alan Rickman.

As for a female main villian Morrigan was already cunning and manipulitive, but she always seemed like a gray character too me.

I want to see a mix between Morrigan, and just a plain cruel woman.

More Mike Patton. I think he's possible more suited to making monster noises than to actual speech, however!

I'd like to see hear Fred Tatasciore (Saren from ME1, as well as the Grand Oak, Cyrion and Swiftrunner in Origins) again. He made an excellent villain in Mass Effect.

Don't forget Mark Hammil, he did an awesome job voicing the cartoon Joker.

Someone who isn't immediately recognizable as a villain.

Let's face it. As good as Simon Templeman is, he is identifiable as a villain immediately. So they really shouldn't use him for a villain unless they don't care about the element of surprise.

I'll second Mark Hamill. The man does good voice work (and I'm not talking about just the Joker either).

I only played Arkham Asylem, I don't realy know any of his other villian roles.

hehe. He's done other work. Not just villains either, which is why I suggested him. You won't go "oh, he's obviously a villain" the second you hear his voice. :)

D.C Douglas please, as the voice of Voyager in Xenosaga he sounded creepy and evil as hell, and as Legion in Mass Effect 2 he had that "mechanical" charisma.

Timothy Dalton, Hugo Weaving, Marina Sirtis (thought she was pretty good as Benezia), Carolyn Seymour (very good as numerous Romulans in ST:TNG), Avery Brooks, James Purefoy, Patrick Stewart, Ian McKellen, Rowan Atkinson (Blackadder voice, obviously), anyone from the League of Gentlemen (esp, Reece Shearsmith - Papa Lazarou was terrifying), Jackie Earle Haley (the guy who played Rorschach in Watchmen), Grey deLisle (assuming she's not LadyHawke), Miranda Richardson. And Alan Rickman, but he should go without saying for ANY major villain :-)

I think I've thought about this a bit too much.

David Hayter would do well as a BioWare antagonist.
