In my opinion tough choices and consequences are what make Bioware games and the funny thing is, there are surprisingly few. However the fact I remember each one of them and have been affected by them is encouraging which suggests to me more such choices would only benefit the game. For me playing as the Hero in a dark fantasy game can be summed up with the phrase 'The more you save, the more you lose'. Each selfless act costs Hawke more of their humanity so by the end, they are sad individual with their friends being either dead or despising them. Rather gloomy but Dragon Age is supposed to be Dark fantasy.

Interesting idea. I do hope that the decisions in DA2 are more morally ambiguous and tough than in DA:O. However I am not worried because it seems Bioware games are moving more and more that direction.
