Are there any more detailed maps of Ferelden and Orlais around?  The maps on the DA website and in game have few locations marked on them.  I haven't seen the books (wandered into a bookstore here the other day but couldn't find them) but I'm guessing the books have some better maps.  Are those maps posted anywhere or will I have to order the books in order to get them?  Since most of the action in my story is going to take place in Orlais, I'd like to know more about the lay of the land.  I guess I can just make up place names, but if there are canon locations out there, I'd like to make use of them.

http://dragonage.wikia.com has the best maps. Be warned, though, the black and white one from the first book is not accurate anymore. It has West Hill in the north, near Kinloch Hold, it should be in the south. It also has Redcliffe on the wrong part of Lake Calenhad.

I also got this from a dev post (can't remember who) and pasted it into my all-purpose fic notes files.

West Hills Arling lies south of Redcliffe. South Reach is between West Hills and Lothering. Vaughan is not a Bann. He's "Lord Vaughan" until his father dies, when he inherits the title of Arl. Ceorlic is the Bann of the Southern Bannorn, which is on the eastern shore of Lake Calenhad. Waking Sea is also on the north coast.

It better-defines a few areas that aren't mapped. Nothing on Orlais yet beyond the general Thedas map, which does include major cities. It's on the wikia, too.

Thanks--I've got the general Thedas map, but I was thinking that there might be something more detailed for Orlais. Well, i guess I found the nearest port to Orzammar which I need right now (Jader) and I'll just have to make up some names of villages between Val Foret and Val Royeaux
