Give enemies a visible stamina/mana bar if the depletable system is to be kept in DA2.
There were a handful of effects in DAO that drained stamina/mana from enemies, and you had absolutely no way of knowing how much of an impact they really had. Knowing that I've drained 10 mana from an enemy mage isn't going to help me a lot if he still has 490 left.
Generally speaking, being able to examine/estimate the stats of your opponents (total health/mana/stamina, armor, attack, defense, maybe resistances, attributes and special abilities as well) would help the tactical side of things.
In D&D games, you could refer to the official rules for such things, but in DAO it's just a lot of guesswork and maxing out one particular tactic that will work against 95% of encounters.
Of course that's probably something that isn't going to go very well with the "strength of the consoles", but I think it could absolutely improve the depth of the combat on the PC version at least, if paired with an increased difficulty setting.
A gameplay feature request, before I forget about it...
