I was wondering if anyone had gotten all three of them yet and if it started a quest to reforge the sword or not.  I was to poor to buy the daggers but found the one in the deep roads.

I was wondering this myself, I know where all three are now.



- Quest chain in deep roads

- Purchased in Lothering

- Pick pocket from Lord Dace



I only got 2 when I found out the third one was in lorthering, but it was too late.



Let me know if someone finds all three.

Lord Dace only appears if you side with Bhelen (spelling?) in orzammar, he sends you on a quest to save him in Auedcan Thiag. He waits in the diamond quarter after you save him.

I only had the one, I'm fairly sure one was for sale from the Lyriumised Dwarf, being sold for alot of cash Icould of brought it but didn't (had no idea if i'd need the cash later on for something else). I believe theres something written in the Lore article of the thorn weapons though I cant fully remember, would be good if there was such a related quest for the weapon.

There was an entry for them. Formerly part of a powerful tainted weapon that was shattered into three pieces which were found and sold to a blacksmith who forged those shards into daggers... and anyone who's every had contact with the daggers has seemingly died a premature death.

I've managed to pick up 2 Thorn of the dead gods Tier 3 for some reason. I suspect it's the one you pickpocket from Lord Dace. I pickpocketed him in the deep roads first and again back in orzammar. Or are all the daggers the same tier?

There's actually a quest for this? Bleeding hell! It never popped into my quest journal at all.

There are a number of 'quests' that aren't in the journal as they're not actually quests. At most you get a codex entry saying that there are three of them.

Oh and the dagger you can buy from the dwarf in Orzammar is called The Rose's Thorn, its not one of the 3 you're looking for

You can steal two from Lord Dace and buy one from Lothering

Olaf's cheese knife in the town you find shale is a good early dagger for dual wield - I wound up using it for a good deal of the game.

The weapon use to belong to a Grey Warden that got broken into 3 pieces.  It didn't become corrupted until the Grey Warden killed Toth, the Archdemon of Fire where it broke into 3 pieces n the taint corrupted into the pieces.  I'm thinking that there might be a way to some how either get them reforged bk into a single weapon or some how cleanse the taint from them.  Don't know but I'll def find out.

Don't think it is combine-able. I never found the option to.

They are daggers. It was originally a different weapon that was shattered. the shards were made into 3 daggers. People are speculating if you gathered all 3 you can unlock a quest to reforge the original.

They talk about the item you buy from different places, not the topsider quest
