I just had an epiphany as to why I love Dragon Age Origins so much. It goes beyond the game, its storyline and how it is played. Each and every time I play one of my fifteen characters, that I am currently playing now, I always find myself listening to the song Leliana sings about the Dalish. I may not understand the lyrics but the melody and the voice of Aubrey Ashburn simply captivates me. I have never heard of Inon Zur until Dragon Age Origins came out: But, I am now in awe of his music and his musical creativity. So, for me playing Dragon Age Origins is more than just playing the best RPG game of 2009. When I hear the voice of Aubrey Ashburn sing that song it stirs my soul.

I guess what I am getting at is “THE” why I am so fearful of DA2 being on a subpar level of Dragon Age Origins. What are your thoughts along those lines? I'd love to hear them. Thank you.

If you're worried about the story that is something you can put your mind at rest over. Even if BioWare did turn the game into a total action game (they're not, but some would have you believe that) the story would still be solid and enthralling. Story is really BioWare's strongest suit.

As far as the soundtrack goes, you can rest assured they can assemble another good group of songs to go with the game.

People just pick words apart and make it into something silly. I agree with Narrenth. It's not like Bioware has the funnest game play system anyway. The are better with stories and characters. So count on that.
