I really don't care how they look now. I ain't expecting it to look the same in 1 year anyhow. So far I hate it. There is nothing that impresses me or stands out as looking good... I never though I would miss DA:O graphics.

She's pretty. Great hair, they improved a lot on the hair, apparently.



And upon close inspection, Hawke reminds me of a heavily "facial-haired" Richard from Legend of the Seeker. Not as pretty though.

Too bad it wasn't, Team Fortress 2 might not be a technically superior game, but it easily looks better than most
games due to Valves super art direction. Game is doomed visually unless  they perform miracle in next, 6 month?

One person's super hot is another persons ewwww ick.   Did they really say cartoon?  What type of cartoon are we talking about here.  Sponge Bob or the Avatar (the real Avatar).   Personally I liked BioWare graphics in DA and ME just fine for the most part.

I agree about the girl.  Finally hair that dosen't want me to shave it.  Some of the styles were ok, but that was the first thing I downloaded.  I like both of them.

No contest for me.  I'll pick DA.    If I have two good games to chose from and one of them will let me play my own sex, I'll pick that one first every time.  Then check out the other one when the price goes down.

Well, the gameinformer article said they got the xbox360 version, not the pc version. Presumably those screens are of the console version and not the pc version. Unless there is going to be some humangous jump in visuals, then i suppose it doesn't matter either way, does it?

What was with the super hot comments and focusing on technology comments? Is he seeing the same game in those screenshots or something vastly better? Who knows.

I know that Projekt Red expressed their intent on releasing TW2 for consoles (360 too). But there is not a single line of code written for them, yet. They only work on the PC version and will look into the possible console versions once they are done.

...hence my "(for now)" in the first post. TW2 won't look that good on consoles.

The Darkspawn. It´s the teeth, they are normal instead of pointed. Never thought I would be missing them. So Hawke has inherited the DA:O companions immunity to the Taint?

Those are two very good observations. I agree, the Darkspawn teeth look too perfect. Why would the Darkspawn look so much different, since these are screens take place in Lothering, right? 

Maybe the explanation is that these darkspawn are different and don't carry the taint? Idk. I'm confused.

The Old Republic was listed for the Xbox360 on "game.co.uk". Gamespot also stuck PS3/Xbox360/PC up as soon as footage was shown. The developers themselfs joked "a few years after" with a pro-pc-rocks-up-yours-everyone message smacked in a video frame of the trailer. It's all abit hazy.

Had this been any other game/company, thouse screenshot would have failed to sell me this game.
Soo BioWare! I know you can do way better than thouse bland & lifeless screenies!.

This reminds me of the heat the Witcher 2 got with the first few trailers of Geralt looking all teenie and weird. And the Dev's went on to say that it wasnt his final look and people shouldnt freak out, it was just for trailer and game-show purpose.

So lets not freak out, mmkay!. ^^

David Gaider said that the final product will be much better than the screenshots shown so far. I'm optimistic about what he said. Bioware has given us too many good if not excellent games in the past that's why i have a lot of faith in David Gaider and co. that they can pull this one off with the direction that they want.

For me, i don't care too much about the graphics whether it's going to be better than The Witcher  or Crysis because why Bioware games are unique or even possibly stand out from other games  is not because of graphics but gameplay and storyline which i really like about them.

So Bioware, keep the screenshots coming and hope to see the trailer sooner than later  and more power to you guys!:)

I'm happy that the Darkspawn look more like the corrupted humanity that they are supposed to be than the generic monsters in DA:O. I hope the PC graphics are a lot smoother and better res than those shown. The problem for me is the environment, I hope they're not making the Free Marches into some red desert. Give me green,

I agree.  I want good graphics, but I'm much more interested in the story and character interaction.

Bethany's hair does look pretty. I hope it is an indication that we will have some new hairstyles, since I play on the console and cannot mod them in.
