Hi,

   I bought a physical copy of Mass Effect 2 a couple of days ago, inside I found the Cerberus Network code thing that gets you the armor and the shotgun. After installing Mass Effect the setup prompted me to enter my Cerberus code, I thought sure I'll get my free stuff . So after doing that and getting into the game, no free stuff, after a bit of googling I found the redeem code page, entered my code and I get "Unable to redeem code.
That code has already been used, and cannot be redeemed again". What's up with this? Why would the installation tell me to input my code if it does nothing but waste it, feeling a little ripped off, anyone had a similar problem?

You can either register in-game or on the site. What you're trying to do is register the code for the second time, as the error message is telling you. If you registered the code you can find your goodies here. Downloadable content doesn't just appear in the game. It has to be downloaded.
