IF we ge a pet, I hope it's another Mabari. Anything else just seems...too outlandish. Griffons, Drakes, Chimeras, etc. would just be weird.
I wasn't all that big of a fan of Dog anyway though...I wouldn't miss it if there wasn't one.

Eh never liked dog. Was a cut little gimmick that fit in well but I wouldn't want them to keep pounding in these pet type sidekicks, doesn't really add anything substantial to either gameplay or story.

It was a good sidekick (especially in the begining) if you were a Human Noble...otherwise, wasn't that great. And agree with the above...anyways, fairly certain they said something about the Mabari being a Ferelden thing...
