Read up on Duncan before you start saying that it makes sense. Furreal Furby.

First of all not a  furby secondly based on what evidence do you say these things.  i haven't read the calling but based on Duncan Wiki article and information in the game it is possible he sired children some time before the blights beginning because he was in fereldan for awhile. I asked for those people read the books which i haven't yet to bring up evidence so how about instead of insulting me without support why  you cite some reasons for your disagreement.

Hawke does bear a startling resemblence to Duncan and we don't know duncan last name is it possible its Hawke? I know grey wardens are less fertile than normal, but we know the grey warden managed to knock up Morrigan.  So can it be HAwke the son and daughter of Duncan or his Beard. Can anyone who has read the books confirm or show proof as to why it couldn't happen.

Startling? The only similarity is the beard.

Just to play devil's advocate (not the I'm agreeing with the theory), there was a mage in the tower that Duncan had a bit of a...tryst with in the books. AND....if Hawke's sister is a mage..... Oh my, I think I'm helping to convince myself. Ah, but it is a one-time tryst so in order for Hawke and his sister to have the same parents (i.e. Duncan and the mage), they would have to be twins. There you go; does that help with your theory?

I knew that face on Duncan before the screen whited out meant something. Just like the Archdemon Duncan's beard's spirit traveled to the closest relative and with their spirits fused together Hawk started to grow a beard over the 10 years and if you play a women then after each level you have to shave in the camp.

Actually, after Duncan's body died in Ostagar, the BEARD decided to find another body to sustain itself. No one knows why it found a new host in Lothering, but fact is: Hawke now is not a guy(or girl) we knew before, now all his(her) actions are, in fact, are dictated by the BEARD and BEARD alone. You know, when somebody decides all of sudden become a single most important human in Thedas, something must guide him(her).

As for ladyHawke, i think BEARD is residing in places that are hard to reach for us.

Hawke is Duncan's and Wynne's Son. If Hawke is Duncan's and Wynne's Daughter, Sandal appears in your camp and sells you enchanted razors, all the while saying: " My name is Bond, James Bond"
