Posted ImagePosted ImageThis german article (translatred through google in the link talks about Flemeth being in the game. http://translate.goo...tml&sl=de&tl=enPosted ImagePosted Image I don't know how good the translation is but their exact wording (through the translator) is, "The mighty shapeshifts and mother of Morrigan from DA:O is also in Dragon Age 2 again with the party (the german version is available in the link.

Does this mean that she's in the story with the part or that she is WITH the party, as in she fights alonside you? Personally, i think that could be really cool.  It would mean that Wynne is not the only old lady who kicks butt.

No, apparently it's just a poor translation of an expression in German that means she'll be in the game, probably nothing more.

This is what a German speaker on another forum I frequent said:

Someone "ist mit von der Partie" means, he or she … generally appears
somewhere. Within the movie, or within the game, or within the book …

This does NOT mean a person is a party-member !

It CAN be so, however, since the term is really very, very vague.

The usual meaning is just "he/she appears somewhere within it". With
"it" meaning the game in this case.

I'd love to have Flemeth as a party member. She's one of the more interesting enigmas in the Dragon Age world, in my opinion. It would also be extra cool if her personal quest involved you tracking down Morrigan to help Flemeth finally take over her body.

With that said, we shouldn't get carried away with our wild speculation. "With the party" can mean a lot of things, especially when it comes from a really sloppy google translation. Levi, Bodahn, Sandal, and all of the ambassadors from the first game's various factions were "with the party" too, technically, but they weren't party members, you know?

I'd reckon that she'd be a tad too powerful to be a companion.

Unless she loses the majority of her powers or some such, don't think it would be too fair to our enemies haha.

Not at all. If she's really the white haired girl from the concept art then that means she has a new body. I believe it was mentioned in the first game that she raises daughters to be powerful mages because it makes it easier to adjust to a new body if it's already used to powerful magic. Let's say for argument's sake that this new body was taken out of desperation and isn't a suitable host. That would be a good reason to power her down to Hawk's level.

Or she could pull a Loghain by being this big bad who becomes a party member later.
