I know that is very very very early and we have a long time to wait for more screenshots for DA2. I also understand that for marketing purposes that Mike Hawke is the way to go to promote the game to as much of the intended demographic as possible. But maybe when it's closer to release Bioware you could consider giving us just one teeny tiny pic of Lady Hawke's concept art on the DA2 website? Maybe as a Christmas present  as DA 2 will be closer to release then? I know that the majority of DA's audience is male, and I understand why Mike Hawke is the icon........but maybe in the future if you could show us just one little picture of Lady Hawke's concept art that would be really really awesome. I am a girl and DA is my favorite game. If it is not possible I understand and thanks for always making a female PC option in all of your games.

Honestly...I don't really care if we see a female Hawke screenshot. You can customize her appearance. It makes no difference.

If we get to see some examples of the character creator (please maker, yes!) then we can sort off see her. The thing is, I don't think there is a set iconic female Hawke like there is for He-Hawke. So what we really need to see is the character creator.

I know that it doesn't make any difference when you play, and it's not a big deal, I just thought it would be cool to see what the developers were thinking when they were making the concept art for Lady Hawke.

I feel your pain, Koffeegirl.  After a certain point, only marketing to insecure pre-teens because women aren't a large enough demographic becomes a self-fulfilling prophecy.

Well, I care. I've run into a bunch of people who didn't know that you could play a female Shepard in ME. There has already been a fair bit of confusion from some over whether or not you can play a female Hawke. Besides, it'd be nice to represented in marketing even just a tiny bit.



Basically, I think there should be acknowledgment of LadyHawke to quell confusion over gender options.

I really care. The model for he Hawke looks different,so maybe it will be different for female as well...

I don't think I'll customize Hawke's appearance. Personally I love that above picture. I think that is a great look. I love the hair, I love the tattoo (which you can't see in that pic but can elsewhere), I love the skin tone and the dark eyes and how well they match between the two characters.

With ME I didn't customize Shepard, but that was more because only the default seemed to look somewhat natural. I dunno, anything else just seemed...off. But with this...it's because I specifically want my Hawke to look like that.

They both strike me as kind of... well, Greek, oddly enough. He looks like I'd imagine Odysseus to look. Not necessarily a negative thing.

I too love this picture. The texture, the angle... everything. It reminds me of a renaissance painting. Let's hope all conversations look this good.

I hope I can create the same Mediterranean look for my FemHawke. I really like the look of the default male. Those cheekbones! And oddly enough I like the beard, too, though that's usually not my thing.
