Buff women generally scare me but hey, we gotta appeal to everyone here right?

Everyone is equal, some are more equal than others.

Because I totally said "feminism is a bad word" in my post. Yeah, stop trying to read what I didn't write.

Umm, you thought someone who said this:

Oh I love you people

Feminism **** YEAH, coming again to save the mother ****ing day.

Oh God  you people are wonderful. I love feminists, because only in a feminist’s mind could you take the most trivial thing and twist it, and pervert it, into something male and chauvinistic.

...made a good post.  That kind of implies something about you.  It's hardly a stretch of the imagination to assume that you think feminism is bad.

As for the gay jokes, I’ll admit, it was an extreme, but again, no straight man would go around direst like this:

Does that scream, manly bad ass?
Um I don’t think so.

THIS however does.

Harsh but true.

Its not homophobic if it’s the truth. . . And again how is pointing out an obvious stereotype homophobic? I mean that’s like saying the majority of African Americans like rap is a racist statement. . .

And again I think it would have been more homophobic for me NOT to have made the joke about it than to have, but believe what you want.

But you never stated "the majority" of homosexuals prance around in frilly outfits you implied that all homosexuals prance around in frilly outfits and all straight men stomp around in heavy armor. And besides, acknowledging any stereotype at all is racist or phobic in the case of homosexuality at least in my opinion.

Just quoting Animal Farm, thought I'd throw a bit of a monkey wrench into this perception of equality.

What bubble do you live in? Is there no humour in your bubble? No ounce of sarcasm, wit, or sardonic tones? Did you read his whole post or just the bits you selectively wanted to see so that you may twist it, pervert it, and turn it into something male and chauvinistic?

See what I did there.

Since everyone fall into one, if we can't make fun of them than we as humans aren't secure with ourselves as well a race.

I don't really understand your reasoning as most people that constantly make fun of others are the one that end up being the most insecure.

Wow, I haven't checked on this thread for a while - things have changes.

Thought I'd throw in my 2 cents on the feminism debate. I used to consider myself one until I realized that if you look hard and long enough you will find inequality and objectification of women. As a woman, I think our reaction to inequality and objectification is what's most important.

As far as the marketing goes, I think DA:O did a good job representing both sexes. The sacred ashes trailer showed both men and women in strong, powerful roles, and even Morrigan was wearing more clothes than she does in game.

To be fair about Kuja.. we don't know that he is actually gay, he may just be flamboyant. If anything, it's a shame if he is indeed gay, the man is really pretty and attractive, probably more so to women than other men but then, that'd be an over-generalisation, wouldn't it? I think we should try to stay away from stereotypes and social stigmas here, even if we are joking about them, some people just can't handle that in text-form.

I must understand that others on the forum are not intelligent enough to
see reason, and make light of archetypes, because they are not secure
enough in there own life to make fun of themselves.

Ah yes, I forget that making fun of yourself is not always encouraged in nations outside of Australia. My bad. Here when someone makes fun of you, it usually means they think you're a great mate. If you can't laugh at yourself, you're considered a snob and a social outcast. Sometimes I forget how it works overseas :) Granted, I have seen this poster harassing quite a few people in different threads now so I am pretty sure it's not a problem they have with just me.

Well it doesn't help that there is no God, only the Maker, and he has turned his gases on us fullish mortals. I mean after we tried to usurp the Golden City I can't blame him.

But since your making yourself look like an idiot, I wont drag you in to a philosophical conversations because you can barley hold a civil debate on ideology with out resorting to insults.
