I know that is very very very early and we have a long time to wait for more screenshots for DA2. I also understand that for marketing purposes that Mike Hawke is the way to go to promote the game to as much of the intended demographic as possible. But maybe when it's closer to release Bioware you could consider giving us just one teeny tiny pic of Lady Hawke's concept art on the DA2 website? Maybe as a Christmas present as DA 2 will be closer to release then? I know that the majority of DA's audience is male, and I understand why Mike Hawke is the icon........but maybe in the future if you could show us just one little picture of Lady Hawke's concept art that would be really really awesome. I am a girl and DA is my favorite game. If it is not possible I understand and thanks for always making a female PC option in all of your games.
Wait, wait, wait....why the hell are you calling him "mike" hawke? i get lady hawke, but mike hawke??

To be fair about Kuja.. we don't know that he is actually gay, he may just be flamboyant. If anything, it's a shame if he is indeed gay, the man is really pretty and attractive, probably more so to women than other men but then, that'd be an over-generalisation, wouldn't it? I think we should try to stay away from stereotypes and social stigmas here, even if we are joking about them, some people just can't handle that in text-form.
I must understand that others on the forum are not intelligent enough to
see reason, and make light of archetypes, because they are not secure
enough in there own life to make fun of themselves.
Ah yes, I forget that making fun of yourself is not always encouraged in nations outside of Australia. My bad. Here when someone makes fun of you, it usually means they think you're a great mate. If you can't laugh at yourself, you're considered a snob and a social outcast. Sometimes I forget how it works overseasGranted, I have seen this poster harassing quite a few people in different threads now so I am pretty sure it's not a problem they have with just me.

I want my male pc and mabari companion in the coolest bad ass plate armour, while the female companions wear the sexiest mail bikinis and the mages some sexy light see-through robes (in different colours ofcause). I also don't mind if Bioware used the female as pets, that way we have more room for awesome male portraits with a smexy female pet portraits next to them.
If you make this possible Bioware, you will have a happy male playing your game =3.
P.S. Don't make sexy male gear, it looks gay, and my pc and mabari don't like to see other males wear it.

oh man some women are going to be pissed about this. Still I had a good laugh over it.
I'm wondering though. Am I a sexist if I get the door for my wife where ever we go?

I don't think courtesy is sexist. Now, of course, that may be different if you open the door for her because you believe that all women are weak and stupid and don't know how to open doors. Then yes, that would be sexist.

I always cringe when developers make statements about choices that are made to cater to that so-called "majority" of straight, white, young, male gamers, or choices that were not made because the group it caters to is somehow in the minority. I think the number of female gamers (and other percieved economic minorities) has exponentially increased and changed across genres from the time when those statements (as blanket justifications) were true -- and continues to change very quickly.
