Is there a new source -- some newly compiled collection or something? I'd thought that the last such was long out of production.

the game is available from d2d and steam for $10
lucasforums and the 'old' Bioware forums both have lots of recent posts in tech problems

Wow, didn't even know this forum was here. Agreed. I played KOTOR for the first time just a few weeks ago. Wish I had known about this thread. I spent a day and a half rigging the game to play on widescreen and downloading patches, downloading the fix for patches and more. Once I got it going, however, I didn't have many problems. Wonderful game, though.

you could just buy the Xbox version and you won't have to worry about any problems it might have on the PC

I agree... Bought the game many years ago, finished it multiple times back then. Only after a few computer updates the game is graphicly screwed to the point of being unplayable. Quite annoying and saddening.mrmike_1949 wrote...
