Correct. As mentioned in our FAQ, however, please keep in mind that if you install:

Origins -> Patch 1.04 -> Awakening, you must again install Patch 1.04 to ensure you get all the fixes.

Yes. When you download a game from Steam, it is always the latest version. If you downloaded DA:O and then Awakening once 1.04 is out, you would not need to repatch, I believe.

WTF, what about the bug where runes don't add damage to activated weapon skills...with any classes. Or how the passive fire and frost mage buffs also do not add damage to activated weapon skills.

AKA my characters deal more damage with normal attacks then they do when I waste skill points on activated skills...
making 90% of character builds useless. I only build weapon wielding characters with 100% pasive skills because even putting points into stamina is wasted when you can have +15 damage from 3 runes and + 20 damage from fire buff + 15 damage from frost buff on each normal hit...

That is by far the most ridiculous game breaking flaw I have seen. I COULD make characters with active skills, but when you know how broken they are it's fairly pointless.

Hows about for Dragon Age 2 you make it so the Mage isn't the only class worth using...
