Game endings... gah, let me scan titles...
For one, with so many endings to DAO I wonder what ones are considered "so bad to be worst" outside of having fun mocking BioWare on their own forum to their (you'd expect) fans...
I only did Awakening once so far, but I found the game to be just fine and don't remember having an Inception moment, even on reflection, with the game's ending.
what game has the worst ending ever

Because the announcement of DA2 means there'll be no more DAO releases, right?2papercuts wrote...

Also, Drakan: Order of the Flame. The game has you trotting all over the place trying to save your kidnapped brother, only to fail in the most melodramatic way possible... after which a boss fight is shoved down your throat, which ends with a pathethic five-second cutscene.
Oh, and the 'sequel' never came out on PC.

maybe some small dlc buts hard seeing them working on a huge dlc and DA2 at the same time when they're releasing DA2 fairly soon. more likely companion stuff againOnlyShallow89 wrote...

Remember that the DAO post-release content team and DA2 team are two separate teams. Still, hard to see more big stuff coming out for DAO... just have to wait and see.
Unfortunatlly, many of my wardens are dead... doesn't make sense to have a sequel for them. Maybe we get to kill Hawke in this new game, keep him/her out of future games.
I'm not sure how I feel about the ending itself, but Morrowind was pretty bad after the main plot. Even the most hardcore jerks will praise your dung, at least for me with an unmodded game. Oblivion thankfully fixed that... by making people forget you existed after the main plot. I just can't win...

now fable 2...i honeslty thought the ending was quite good, yes i know its not a real battle but still its cool that you finnaly kill lucien and the way its set up feels very epic, and the choice on what you do after is VERY good. as for oblivion... i thought it was awsome, you save the day close the gate and lets face it the battle between the dragon and the monster is AWSOME.

The fact that at the end if you didn't have any family you could still choose it to revive your dog and leave the millions who died in slavery and pain stay dead, screw their widows and children I haven't taught my dog all his tricks yet.

1) (good) Use the super magic power of the Spire to restore everyone who was killed by Lucien's rise to power back to life. Except, oddly, your family.....who were no doubt among the most recent victims. Why they arent included is anyones guess.
2) (neutral) Use the magic of the Spire to restore just your family to life. Why no one else is included simply baffles me. That is a ****ing ton of wasted power.
3) One million gold. Let us not forget that money is absurdly easy to get in this game. If you own a property you earn rent from it. Even when you arent playing. Thats right, put down the controller and change the Xboxs date to as far in the future as it will go and load up.....caaaaaching. Or simply not play for a few months. Either way, money is never an object.

I love that trick, I was going to play properly but after 2 glitches that forced my to restart the game I just said **** it and exploited the other glitches and used them to get a ****load of money and infinite skill points.
Also yeah the ending was pretty stupid, one would think that bringing everyone who was killed as a result of Lucien's actions back to life would include your dog and sister as they were killed by Lucien's own hand but there you have it.

Oh as did I, I do not try to pretend that Fable 2 had a great story (lets face it the story was rubbish) however I did enjoy the game for what it was.

It was rubbish... just like the music box in the opening.
To be honest, it was okay. Very cliched, but it seemed to be having fun with that, and may have been the point. Fun game. Ending sucked, though. I'll hold judgement on Fable 3 until I get it.

Do the Assassins Creed games count? I mean the endings werent really endings but hints toward the next game in the series. However I must admit I did enjoy the implications of Assassins Creed 2's ending.
Look out Desmond, the sun is exploding again.
Good point, the story isn't done yet. Which is what killed Halo 2 for me. "Finishing this fight" was the most overused marketing and in-game message ever.
Oh, and with AC2 I thought Desmond's reaction to Ezio's story was the end of the game. That would have been great, but nope. The credits start rollin', and I keep rollin'.
No new additions right now... but I'll be back.

Thank you for playing Matrix Cubed!
But of recent times, the hands down winner for me is Fallout 3. This is why I dislike this game so much. I expected it to be good... but after finishing it, the DVD came straight out of the drive. I still refuse to go back even now.
