I am primarily interested in the game changes. Spells nerfed, beefed up, that sort of things.

It is in fact there:
1. Right click on your Dragon Age Mac executable icon and select "show package contents"
2. navigate to contents/resources/transgaming/c_drive/program files/Dragon Age/Docs/PatchNotes_en.txt
Oh wait. You haven't installed it!!! I am not sure what version the original release was for Mac... but here is what is listed for 1.02 & 1.03:
------------------------Dragon Age: Origins 1.03------------------------
- Various changes have been made to code and resources to support the DragonAge: Origins - Awakening expansion pack. Most of these changes do not affectOrigins itself.- Some players were experiencing increasingly long load times. A major cause ofthis problem has been fixed.- At higher levels, non-player characters now receive a bonus to armorpenetration. This mitigates an unintentional imbalance with well-armoredhigh-level characters, since armor penetration previously did not scale asaggressively as armor itself did.- Elite-rank enemies (lieutenants) can no longer be shattered. This preservesthe intended tactical design of many combat encounters.- Portraits for summoned creatures (like a ranger's wolf) were displayingimproperly while in the party camp. This no longer occurs.
------------------------Dragon Age: Origins 1.02------------------------
Many of the fixes affecting balance, gameplay, or plot scripting are alreadyincluded in the Xbox 360 and PlayStationÆ3 versions of Dragon Age: Origins.
BALANCE- Daggers now apply 0.5 points of damage per additional point in dexterity and0.5 points of damage per additional point in strength, as originally intended. This increases dagger damage for high-dexterity characters.- During combat, mana or stamina reserves now correctly regenerate more quicklywhen reserves are low. This allows players to occasionally use an talent orspell in the later stages of lengthy fights.- When exploring, mana and stamina now regenerate more quickly at highercharacter levels. This reduces downtime between fights.- The spells Force Field, Crushing Prison, Cone of Cold, and Blizzard now haveshorter durations and/or longer cooldowns. This ensures that combatants can nolonger stun-lock each other by repeatedly casting the same spell.- The cooldowns for several low-level sustained abilities are now shorter. Thisensures that players are not penalized for accidentally deactivating them.- Certain battles were not scaling properly, resulting in excessively difficultfights. They now scale as intended.- Enemy corpses now drop health poultices and money more appropriately, resulting in less clutter in the player's inventory.
GAMEPLAY- In rare cases, enemy corpses were selectable when they contained no loot. This no longer occurs.- Party members whose combat tactics were set to defensive behavior nolonger stop attacking after using a spell or talent.- In rare cases, combat tactics conditions could fail to determine whether acharacter had enough mana or stamina to use an ability. This no longer occurs.- The Rally talent no longer repeats its audio effect if it is active duringcertain conversations.- The Rally talent no longer deactivates upon area transitions or conversations.- The Shimmering Shield spell now deactivates when the character is out of mana.
PLOT (SPOILER WARNING)- Promotional downloadable content items now remain in the player's inventorywhen standard items are removed at the end of the dwarf noble origin.- Repeatedly talking to Duncan after gathering the vials in the Korcari Wildsbut not the treaties no longer provides duplicate experience.- Leliana's personal plot can now be completed if the player substantiallyincreased her approval (through gifts) before talking to her.- During the siege of Redcliffe, enemies are no longer able to spawn inlocations that would break the plot.- Bann Teagan no longer disappears when he is supposed to be accessible duringUrn of Sacred Ashes.
PC-SPECIFIC- Controlling a summoned creature (like a ranger's pets) during certain specialarea transitions no longer results in odd behavior.- Creating a character in a custom module did not create a folder for saves. This could result in corruption of main campaign saves. This no longer occurs.- In some cases, the class icon was set incorrectly for characters importedfrom the downloadable Character Creator. This no longer occurs.- The options menu now includes a setting to automatically download previouslypurchased content that is not currently installed.- After installing new downloadable content, the game now always reminds theuser to restart the game.- The icons for some promotional downloadable content items were missing. Theynow appear correctly.- Various issues could occasionally cause uploads to the online player profileto fail unexpectedly. This no longer occurs.

Upgrade Mac DAO to 1.03 and then Back up your Applications/Dragon Ages somehow. (just in case).
1. Copy Yourwindowspartition/Program Files//Dragon Age/addins folder to your Mac side (inside of that folder is the expansion folder dao_prc_ep_1). AND also copy .../Dragon Age/Packages/core_ep1 from the windows install to the Mac.
2. I copied my My Documents/Bioware/Dragon Age/Settings/AddIns.xml to my Mac and replaced the Addins.xml on my Mac Documents/Bioware/Dragon Age/Settings/AddIns.xml, however this could effect your addins if you don't have the same DLC on both windows & Mac, SO BACK IT UP, I just made a copy and called it AddInns.xml_back incase I ran into problems.. Alternatively you can open that file and find the xml data from the file for awakenings to put into your Macs Documents/Bioware/Dragon age/Settings/AddIns.xml. Either way should work, but back it up first.
3. Locate Applications/Dragon Age/Dragon Age Origins Mac application. Right click on it and select Show Package Contents. Navigate to Contents/Resources/transgamingc_drive/Program Files/Dragon Ages/ and copy the addins folder you copied from the windows game. Navigate to .../Dragon Age/packages and copy the core_ep1 to the .../Dragon Age/packages folder on your Mac side.
Hope I didn't miss anything!
Start the game and the campaign option should be available with Awakenings as one of your campaigns.
I am not responisible if you get this wrong or if it borks your game. I told you to back it up for a reason. I may have missed something because I did this back on 22Jul and wrote this from memory. However, I have over 10 hours of game play with zero issues.
My worry is the with next update to DAO for Mac, as I think a checksum is done by the installer/updater. So that is why I am keeping a backup Dragon Age Origins Mac app around. If I need to I can run that instead to update and then setup my expansion by hand again.
I purchased the expansion and am running it on one computer. I don't think I am violating any EULA. However, if I am, please just PM me and let me know and just delete this post. Honestly I was a little apprehensive about letting anyone know. But hey, Macheads can play the expansion with out actually booting into windows!

First you need a legal copy of DAO and Awakenings already installed on windows (mine is upgraded to 1.03 but don't think this makes a diff). I am sure there are other ways to extract the data, but I didn't do that. I have purchased DAO & Awakenings for windows and also DAO for the Mac.

Jolly do I have your permission to include this in the FAQ? I'm going to redo it in light of recent developments and such and this is a big deal that people might like to see.

Great. Will be Golems and/or Witch released also for Mac?
Man I am hoping that Witch Hunt does. I went straight to the bioware content page when I heard about witch hunt coming out and was crushed when i saw it wasn't coming on day one. But It seems like they bring dlc to mac shortly after it comes out on PC so I will keep my fingers crossed.
Actually I should go download Leliana's Song right now for Mac to show my support!
