We've all heard about it, that the console combat will be different to the PC.
I'm just hoping that we, as PC users get more details and possibly the option of utilising them...
As much as DAO was great, the combat did get a little hands off. Simply run tank into middle, taunt, go make a cuppa, come back and loot. Even on nightmare mode (With a good party, equipment and tactics setup obviously).
The only thing that needed abit of micro management was the odd boss, which required certain tactics.
This is why I am finding this new console based combat intrigueing, it sounds like it will keep the game quite entertaining, and more, hands on, so to speak. I know it wont be something like star ocean 4's, but 1 can hope for something in that area.
Another bonus is that, if it is included with controller support, I can simply sitback and enjoy. A good example is fallout 3 using a 360 pad, best of both worlds with controller support aswell as the ability to mod your game.
Any1 else hoping that they include this as an option with the PC version?
P.S. Dont simply state "Durrr durrr BAI CONSOLEZ!" as, while it may be more enjoyable with the above, the massive amount of mods are simply too big a loss.

I doubt there will be an option to use the console's system on the pc. The way it sounds, the systems will be quite different (not sure how much or in what manner) and centered around the various buttons available. There may be no way to actually implement the system on the pc without a controller.

No problem - just keep in mind that we don't actually know how different the systems are yet.

Even though the pause and play system is supposedly the same. I hope the actual skills don't get streamlined with lame Mass Effect 2 style leveling.
