But now, the Devs aren't answering me, and I don't know whether to start new character or not because the game itself has a character limit.

Even if what you did in Awakening does not transfer to DA2, your Origins decisions are still in the Awakening savegame, so it doesn't matter.
I'm still concerned.

Well I don't understand why the Devs won't answer if the expansion to the game that they are making a sequel too is transferable.
Well first of all, if a developer decides to answer one of your questions, it's because they feel like it. They aren't obligated to answer any specific questions. Secondly, have you thought for a moment that in-depth specific information on the game is handled by marketing and community managers, and that the developers can't answer questions without stepping on the toes of their colleagues who likely have a very specific plan on what information gets released at what times?

thought? yes
and now let's hear the answer to the question, there are many people who hesitate to buy the expansion because they don't know if it matters for DA2 or not

It does? I currently have 34 characters that have saves (some characters are there twice because the game creates a new profile for characters who have been transferred to Awakening). At least on the PC version it doesn't seem like there is a character limit.NKKKK wrote...

As for the question itself, it may be the devs don't know yet if it's possible to transfer characters from Awakening.

Yeah but he had to delete his origins saves to play Awakening.
So if onpy Origins saves are transferrable.......
The only difference between Origins and Awakening saves is Awakening saves are (even) bigger, because you've explored more areas.

that's impossible, if they already know transfer can be done from DA1 at this point of developement they are for sure knowing if its also true for the expansion
