I was wondering if it was possible that they could add a dislike putton to update posts! I have no idea why this wasn't installed first off. Also, is there anyway that other members can recieve updates for a group they don't lead. If not then can they make it so!?

My I add that I would also like to receive the Email updates in a timely matter. This 5 hours to tell me I've been Pm'd is a little long

I think you mean "button," and I've been wondering why social sites haven't allowed that kind of abuse yet. I'm ready to like a page called "the dislike button" on FaceBook...
But you can recieve updates from other groups. You have to "Subscribe" to them, and they will appear under the most recent forum posts and near the new memebers of your "user home" page. At least, that worked for me with the DA podcast...

For subscribed groups? I get them on the user home page... Awkward... (To be honest, it disappears 1/3 of the time, even when there are updates.)
I don't get any e-mail updates because I visit this place too often to begin with, and set it to stop. Can't help you there...

I dislike the idea of a dislike button. I think there's enough hate on the Internet and these forums have without making it even easier.

I think the notification is a good idea, but I would agree with Amstrad that a dislike button isn't what I would want to see. I mean there are ways to let ppl know if u don't like something but I also think that there is too much anger/hate on the internet. So yeah I just don't think a dislike button is the way to go.

Yeah...and what would you rather want? A bunch of people yelling at you because that is the only way they can tell anyone they dislike something? Or would you rather just see a bunch of thumb downs?
